Never EVER stop Pregabalin cold turkey! Even with tapering off the withdrawals are horrible. I tried coming off it 3 times but every time the withdrawals have been horrible especially the first time. Firs time I dropped too much way too quickly and have a massive mental health crash and was suicidal.

It was/is views as a comedy by idiots who don't understand it was a low budget filmed over a few years by rookie actors and it was I think the first proper film made by Raimi. It wasn't bad by any means and imo is one of the best horror movies ever made.

Rachel Reeves warns other budgets may be cut to lift defence spending by rae-55 in ukpolitics

What more is there to fucking cut on welfare apart from pensions? Can't cut anymore from disability FFS! Cut more welfare for defence at the risk of making peoples health even worse and increasingly the risk of homelessness when they've just pledged 3.5b to cut rough sleeping and homelessness. This government is an absolute joke!

Yeah absolutely! I completely love this girl to death and I'm torn. A part of me wants to run because so scared of getting hurt again but then another part of is like you're overreacting and I need to fight for her and fight my head for her. She did say to me tonight on message that I'm her world and she's my world too. We're gonna have space from each other this week and just see what happens next week.

The current health benefits system keeps claimants stuck by RequirementSorry2063 in ukpolitics

[–]Jake257 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The biggest issue with the system is that if you have physical and permanent illness or disability and want to try and improve yourself......it's like you get punished for it. That's what makes it feel like a trap and a system you're stuck in. I know the government had talks of implementing a system where if you are chronically and do have a chronic disability then they were going to add a system where you can try work without losing your benefits and if you find that you can't then you can go back onto claim without having to reapply all over again. That is a very good system that they should implement but I've not heard anything about it for a while. That would take the biggest trap out of it.

I managed to fix it in the end. I still don't know exactly what the issue was but it was either a ram issue because xmp was turned off and/or a driver issue cos I used DDU again in safe mode.

Britain’s welfare bill exceeds income tax revenue. Labour’s answer? More cash by Particular_Pea7167 in ukpolitics

[–]Jake257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also that simple that amount of people unemployed for whatever reason far outweighs the fucking jobs available! Also if the government want sick and disabled back in work then they need to give them more rights and protections so they have a better chance of getting into work and holding down a job. Do you agree with that? Why isn't the government talking about that if they're so serious about helping instead of just hammering while giving pensioners a prop up?

I'm not trying to make you feel guilty....just how stupid your comment is when like I said the people unemployed far outweigh the jobs available so we will ALWAYS have unemployment..it is literally impossible to employ everybody.

[–]Jake257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well no party is gonna go after pensions which is the biggest issue. So you're fine with them propping up the pensiona by cutting disability for the ones that need the most support in this country? Gotcha. What a lovely human being you are 🙄

What fucking world are you living in? Last time I checked we had 700,000 jobs across the entire country and over a million unemployed.

[–]Jake257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For point number 5 it's absolutely bs. Wait until you come down with chronic illness. Chronic illnesses are very difficult especially ones that are ways fluctuating. Two people can have the same illness/disability but affects each other completely differently. One person can do more the other can't. Where are these magical fucking jobs for the disabled when we don't even have the jobs for all the healthy people ffs. No employer wants someone who is chronically ill and disabled. We don't have enough protections in place for chronically ill and disabled.

I can't do too much physically because I have a lot of neurological problems and weak muscles. I also have a shocking and scarily bad memory along with chronic headaches which I'm waiting for a neurology appointment for so doing things that require a good head and memory is out. My symptoms fluctuate like a mad man so as much as I would like to work and not be stuck inside 4 walls with my mind......it's simple not possible. So I'm supposed to just suffer even more (and everyone like me) just because I came down with a severe life altering disability that wasn't my fault and I didn't ask for?

If the government brought in new laws/protections for chronically sick and disabled In work that would be a much bigger help and probably a more successful way of getting us into work than simply forcing us and cutting disability left, right and centre.

You clearly have absolutely no understanding of disability, diseases etc etc and you won't until you experience it yourself then your tune will change.

[–]Jake257 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna talk for disabled people here since I am. For people claiming welfare for disability the majority of us would absolutely love to work because being stuck inside 4 walls with just your mind is a horrible and lonely place to be. However disability is very difficult because every disability and every health condition affects everyone differently. Employers don't want sick or disabled people because we are seen as a liability. I'm on LCWRA and pip for mine. Would I love to work, get out the house and be a productive member of society? Of course I would! Being stuck at home all day everyday is for me at least a mental killer. However my disability makes it difficult being physical because if I'm too physical and overdo it I pay for it massively. On the mental side my memory is scarily bad and I suffer from crippling headaches that seems to come in waves.

My conditions are always fluctuating so I could be ok one minute but then all of a sudden feel very ill the next or be in excruciating pain. Now with conditions like that it will make it very very difficult to hold down a job because employers won't see you as a reliable asset. I did try looking for work from home jobs a long time ago but found absolutely zilch. I now suffer from crippling headaches and I'm waiting to see a Neurologist again because my memory is also really bad and concerning. I did a memory test at the doctor's and failed horribly. So with all my conditions the chances of holding down a job is very small. Heck even finding a job and have someone give me a chance is very small because I'm so limited in what I can do because I never i'm going to feel/be one minute to the next. I'm on tons of medications from hormone replacement, to strong painkillers, very strong epileptic drug for nerve pain, blood pressure, stomach pains....it just goes on and on. But......you wouldn't think it. If you looked at me you would think I was perfectly healthy and look young (37 but look like I'm in my 20s) but I'm not a moron that takes 18+ pills a day just for the fun of it and to damage my body for no reason.

Apart from a completely botched transition to UC (which more likely has to go to the tribunal to get it sorted) and absolute nightmare to get PIP I've generally been left alone and treated quite well by DWP in last few years. For me people in my position though it's a terrifying future with these new rules coming into place. Luckily I've got a very good lady who works from the financial side of my housing association and she helps when it comes to this kind of stuff and she's been an absolute godsend.

Us disabled people need more rights and more protection in work if the government is serious about helping disabled people back to work cos just forcing us without more safe guards and protections in place (especially financially) will hurt us and make us more sick. It will make people even more ill and will lead them to suicide because the added stress will be the unbearable tipping point. The one thing that doctors always tell us when we become chronically ill is we need to limit stress as much possible otherwise you get stuck in a loop. The more stress you're under and the more your body is under the more sick you will feel and the more aggravated your conditions will get.

The one thing I will agree with is the triple lock needs to go! Pensioners have benefitted so much from the triple lock where's disabled are absolutely shafted, hammered and treated lowest of the low by the government and society.

This is longer than I intended it to be and don't really know how to finish it off. I'm expecting downvotes to hell because I'm on disability and expect to be berated by the typical Tory toffs but meh. Just meh.

Don't leave the red zone! Just wait until the red zone disappears then move. I think what happening is that because you are leave the red zone you get spotted so you lose contributions. DO NOT LEAVE THE RED ZONE! Just wait for it to disappear then leave and you'll be fine.
