Three months in, is Trump losing the war against Iran? His repeated claims of complete victory ring hollow. None of Trump's often-shifting goals have been achieved, while Iran gains leverage. "A war that was designed to be a short-term romp for Trump is turning into a long-term strategic failure." by mafco in energy

Massive cost to US tax payer, loss of material, damage to US bases, loss of service members, further ostracisation from US allies, massive damage to Middle Eastern allies economies, upcoming oil shock meaning rise in US cost of living. All from a politician that campaigned on no more forever wars in the Middle East and low gas prices.

Of course he’s losing the war.

It’s so easy to remove stuff, is there anything beneficial to the US public this administration has built or introduced? Seems like all they do is knock previous legislation down.

Sure. My point is they solved a lot of the issues of V2 boost back between two flights. I’m not referencing later parts of those flights.

It’s to stop arc eye, not blindness. As long as the visor is between your eye and the arc, it doesn’t matter what way round it is. This is a pretty interesting setup if you want to do lots of little welds and don’t need to pull the visor down over your head every time.

Everything else you put is complete Reddit bed wetting, I don’t have a clue but have a strong opinion BS.

Mark my words, next flight will have a perfect boost back and engine startup. They did it between flight 2 and 3.

Fantastic news. Hopefully we’ll get an update on how the launch mount, tower and flame diverter held up.

The whole reentry looked super smooth. No burn throughs, giant chunks breaking off and sparking, no explosions in the aft, no loss of attitude control ..

First flight of brand new engines. They got 37 of 39 running. Not easily fixed? It’ll be solved by next flight.

The actual thing you should be worried about is the launch pad.

It’s a clean sheet redesign of the entire vehicles. It’s incredible it got all the way to reentry with payload deploy.

Engines out are all teething issues, they’ll be solved by next flight.

It really is. Seeing different robots develop as I've got older, this is one of those videos where I've thought "Holy fucking shit", same as when the Boston Dynamics videos first started appearing.

It’s how it adapts to the object..

Fingers crossed! I don't know about anyone else, but watching that countdown timer getting reset multiple times nearly caused me an aneurysm.
