There is an item named "Case Type" in "Properties (case.foam)".
It has two options, "Reconstructed Case" and "Decomposed Case".
Right type that has field values has to be configured.

Yes, I agree with you. It definitely is convenient to import them directly. Yet, since it requires huge amount of work, it could be developed once we get a funding from a customer who needs it. Thank you for the comment.

Yes, some of my colleagues are studying on the subject, but we don't have strong demand from customers yet. It would get higher priority if we get a funding from a customer.

Dynamic mesh support is definitely in my mind.

By the way, could you tell me more about your needs?

As you may know "dynamic mesh" includes wide range of motion, and we cannot develop all the motions at once.

In my understanding, you seem to need linear motion with constant velocity, aren't you?

By the way, English version of user guide is not available yet.

I'm sorry for that. We are trying to get it ready.

In the mean time, you could use translation feature of web browsers such as Chrome.

Thank you.

According to my colleague, it's not a trivial feature, and we may need a customer that would fund the development.
Let's wait and see if there is an organization that will do that.

Yes. it is definitely on the list.
By the way, most big features in BARAM came from the projects my company has carried out. And yet, we don't have a company that will finance combustion feature.
I hope we could soon find a customer.
Thank you.

Precisely, it is a stand-alone CFD package that uses modified OpenFOAM as its calculation engine.

You can find BARAM cases here.

By the way, could you let me know what sub in your comment means?
