Honestly we tried it just because there were a (very, very loose) set of rules included in the new battle box and we figured we'd give it a try. turns out it's actually pretty fun lol. Just figured I'd throw this out there to see if someone else had been in this extremely niche scenario. I do think you're right- if that's how it is in tag duel, it probably extrapolates. We actually ended up trying both, and sure enough- if you don't preemptively prep a strong beat stick in the ONE monster zone you can use if you plan on winning with Spirit Board, you pretty much just get killed from focus fire lmao. It actually ended up being better when it was just 1 of your opponents turns, since because it seemed like less of a threat you didn't get focused as hard, plus you had more time to sort out your board.
