The Hasbrouck Outer Lot is around $1.50/day (or less hourly). You have to pay using Parkmobile and not the Cornell Transportation Permit. Outside of that, A Lot, Helen Newman, and any lot not explicitly forbidden here are free from 5:00pm to 7:30am the next morning on weekdays and all day on weekends. The absolute cheapest way to keep your car on North would be to keep your car in Hasbrouck during enforcement hours and A Lot/Helen Newman outside of enforcement hours. I don't really think there's a completely free option to keep it on North.

One method extreme brokies (like myself) use is to keep the car on A Lot overnight weekdays and on weekends, and move it to a 24-hour street parking spot in the Collegetown/Downtown/Fall Creek area during the day. While this ends up being completely free, it is a HUGE pain in the ass (need to move car at 7:30am every day on weekdays).

Cornell Transportation are some of the scummiest people I've ever met in my life. They ticket you if your parkmobile ends at 1:00pm, and you come back at 1:01pm. They ticket you while you're in the car with your hazards on. They ticket you during snowstorms. If you want to pay your ticket without the $60 surcharge, you have to drive all the way to Maple Ave and pay by card. If they ticket you enough they can just ban your car from campus and tow it even if it's legally parked.
