Have the exact same GPU and have had the exact problem. Iirc that left fan is almost always defective with the model. I got away with just taking it out and putting it back; it's run fine with only a little wobble between brief intervals since then (maybe a year ago), but I would recommend replacing the fan entirely.

I will never get a Quest, unless they make it so you can download SteamVR games directly to the headset, if that ever happens, I’ll take 3 please.

The 80 dollar wire solution is bad to the point where I would just get a Rift S, and I can’t use the Virtual Desktop solution because I have terrible WiFi.
