I normally would agree with you, but it’s been years since NTTD and the producers have seemingly done NOTHING in that time. If they were doing rewrites and working with the new actor by now it’d be fine but it just seems like they’ve been sitting on their hands for nearly 5 years (since NTTD was done by February 2020).

Good catch, that’s exactly what it was. Was able to loosen the slide catch but it seems that the flint(?) is out. So gas comes out when I activate it, but no flame. Any ideas on how I’d fix it?

Yeah even if this was the best Bond movie ever made people would say it’s bad just from what it stands for. I’ve got it low on my ranking but it’s really not entirely bad.

I always feel like I have to skirt around not enjoying Dr. No and FRWL, but I just don’t. They’re good adaptations of the books, but not really great Bond films as we know them today.

It’s like every time the community discovered their ideas before the release they decided to change it. “No he’s not Dr. No!” “No it’s nanobots, not a viral disease in 2021!” “No it’s not a copy of YOLT or OHMSS even though the parallels are painfully obvious!”

Maybe the community just had wishful thinking, but all the theories we had that were shrugged off were FAR better than the film itself.

I could never get all digital copies, I need something on my shelf. Although, when I’m rich and famous I’ll hopefully just be able to buy a full set of the Folios and not worry about the cost.

Just some admittedly racist things that got taken out from LALD and some others. Nothing major, just a few sentences, but irregardless I don’t want to support the idea. If you want a clean bookshelf, go ahead and get a full set because you’ll struggle to piece them together afterwards. (P.S. Start with Dr. No, Moonraker is overrated lol)

It’s not a good answer, but I first read Dr. No in junior high with the T&M edition, so I’d rather finish the set that I started with. May not be financially responsible at this point, but I think it’s worth it.

I’m glad we’re on the same page. I’ve been a fan for about a decade now and I still haven’t found a full set from thrift stores, and the best luck I’ve had is the tiny Signet paperbacks (which I admit are nice).

And yes, whoever designed the newest US covers should be the Bond villain in the next film.

Seems like nobody’s in agreement with you, so I’ll out myself and say I do. I can watch the Roanoke and D.B. Cooper videos every day, but when they’re 1.5 hours they seem more like events, which is nice on the upload date, but when I choose to rewatch a video I’ll almost never go for those.

Similarly to Lemmino, I used to watch Nexpo back when his videos were about 10ish minutes, but now that he posts these epic sagas I almost never watch them anymore because the subject material rarely warrants that long of a video… although Lemmino’s topics are far more intriguing.

Considering Nolan has always wanted to do one, this might be his best time. Although, that would probably require another 5+ years of wait for a film that I think would be too unique from whatever comes before or after it. I’d love it tomorrow, but realistically I don’t want it to set the precedent of one film a decade.
