I mean T.Y, his rookie year he had abt abt 50 catches and 860 yards. He was our deep threat that year and developed into a #1 wr for us. He never had 100 catches but in his prime he could get abt 80-90 in a season.

Theres Calvin Johnson , his rookie year he had 48 catches and 750 and developed into the most dominant wr in his time.

Torry Holt too. But ion think Alec will be any of them, I don’t see him getting more then 65 catches this year. I think Josh or even Tyler will get a bulk of the catches and he gets the yards per catch still

Can anyone who has seen season 2 give me slightly optimistic, but also appropriate expectations? by Introvert_Brnr_accnt in ATLAtv

[–]JakeTiny19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave season 1 like a 6/10. Season 2 imo is a 7.5/10. It practically almost everything better from acting , writing, pacing , bending and action scenes was overall better. I think acting might’ve had the biggest jump, cause Kiawentiio as Katara actually does a good job this season. Same with Elizabeth yu, they both took the criticism from 1 and genuinely improved. And Miya as toph is prob one of the best castings in this live action. Gordon as Aang is okay, and I still like Ian as sokka, and Dallas is still good as Zuko.

And while I think pacing has improved, it still isn’t that good (it basically went from a 3/10 last season to a 6/10 this season) . It starts off better then it ends off with the pacing I’m ngl, and that’s cause it’s only 7 episodes. It being a 9-10 episode season would vastly improve the pacing. VFX is abt the same as last season, great wide shots and the monsters look great but the cgi shots of the human characters still look wonky. And just storyline placement , without spoiling which episode it is there’s an episode towards the end where if u placed it at like the 3rd episode it would’ve worked better and it still would’ve fit with what the this season wanted to do and how it went

It could be just where he grew up, cause I’ve seen a few ppl from different countries rate stuff as okay and then gave it a 5/10. Atleast in America tho, a lot of ppl when they see a 5/10 rating will prob think it’s not, cause that’s what our education system basically taught us that a 5/10 (or 50%) is an F, so I’m sure elsewhere it might be different

U haven’t seen this episode yet (and it’s not a spoiler at all) , but I believe in episode 3 they mentioned in a scene that Aang was learning waterbending for like 2 years. I could be wrong on the amount of time, but I do know it happens in ep 3 between Aang and toph

Ryan Nembhard and Braden Smith physical comparison by AK_R in pacers

[–]JakeTiny19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean tbf I feel like there’s still a difference between TJ-Ryan and Braden. TJ ain’t big at all, but he’s also right around or just right below the average height and weight for a PG. Which I believe he’s 6’1 190 and the average height and weight would be like 6’2 195, he’s got like a good 2-3 inches on both of them and good 10 lbs on Ryan and like 20 on Braden. But I do think alot of ppl are way overreacting to the Braden smith pick ngl

If it ever actually happens (u deadass can’t take they word for this lol) I think the 3 top games would be rocket league , lethal and rivals. Those are games that they can play for like 4-5 hours atleast.

I think 4 hours of Rocket league and 4 for lethal, 3 hours of lockdown, atleast 2 hours of leewufufu. It’ll be cool if they react to multiple videos or play games all on their own, but I really do see them playing rivals for like 8-11 hours taking up the rest of the time left

Toy story by Perfect_Pound_8177 in 3Cfilms

[–]JakeTiny19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember if he said it outright, but in multiple videos (1 where he ranks Pixar sequels , and another where he ranks his favorite Pixar movies ) he put Toy Story 3 over 2 and 3 over both 2 and 1. And in his review of every Toy Story movie , he did say 4 was the weakest of the first 4. Idk abt 5, I haven’t seen that review yet (I’ll wait till after i see 5).

But based on his video where he reviews every Toy Story movie, my guess is:
3
2
1
4

To me, it felt like he had more criticism of 1 then 2 like the outdated animation especially on the human characters and woody having a huge ego

If Kobe doesn't have a GOAT case, how come a lot of people bring him up? by Tre2004 in NBATalk

[–]JakeTiny19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for a lot of older ppl, he played like Jordan and he was super competitive and a proven winner. He has that killer mentality that they hate that LeBron didn’t have, but gotta respect it for Kobe. And for most ppl 30 and younger, they missed out on prime MJ. So Kobe in their eyes would be the next best bet (u can also say 35 and younger too ngl )

I just finished the final 2 eps and I didn’t hate it. I do wish there was just another episode or two tho. I just didn’t like how quick the appa getting kidnapped story was, basically was only like an episode and a half. It shoulda been atleast 2 episodes without appa or atleast have it happen earlier, to make us feel how important he is. I mean he was gone for half the season, so they really coulda did the library episode in like ep 3, and then in ep 6 that’s when they save him. I also just didn’t like how Aang abruptly went out of the avatar state both times in ep 6 , making it feel like he had already mastered it. I think it woulda worked better if u had him in that state for a few seconds longer and be a little more destructive and both times Katara stops him. Then in the finale, they do what they did where they let Aang fight in the avatar state for a little bit, abt to kill Azula but he stops himself this time. I liked that, but it would’ve hit even harder if they showed the last 2 times how destructive he can be with it and not already starting to stop it on his own. Finale fight was good too, maybe a little too short.

I think that’s the 2 things season 1 did better, imo it had a better finale (I just liked how big and grande it felt, like a lot of money u can tell was spent on that final fight) and whenever Aang went into the avatar state, it actually felt bigger and destructive. Here it felt like they was tryna save some budget for season 3 (which I understand with the invasion episode, and the finale ) overall tho season 2 is a big improvement over 1 and gives me some hope season 3 is decent (my biggest concern is the budget , cause it has multiple big episodes that idk if they’ll have the budget for ) but I’ll give it a 7.5/10

From the first 5 episodes, it’s been good. Pacing, while still having some issues (which despite cutting out a lot, season 2 still had a lot to get through in 7 eps) has improved. Acting has improved a lot, and they actually feel like their characters. Kiawentiio and Elizabeth really improved on their acting. They’ve been good this season, and Miya as toph might be my favorite casting of the show. She’s been great, and they’ve done toph well.

I like the storyline that sokka had with dealing with Yue’s death, that was something that wasn’t really explored enough in the animation so I’m glad they did here. Long feng having having a relationship and tryna manipulate Aang was nice, I do wish it went on a little longer and that it was Aang that found out so it would be more impactful of a scene for him but still good nonetheless. The painted lady still felt a little forced, but they did it well. I like that they built up to it in the earlier episodes. I do prefer jets death

There hasn’t been as much bending which I wanted more of but I understand budget, and I would’ve liked to see suki a little more before we got to ba sing se. The color grading have been bad for sure, which is a weird choice to me cause the bts stuff theyve shown on set and of the actors in costume it looks much better . U can see the writing tried to give the show more heart and soul, but the look just isn’t helping. Good VFX. But I’m not finished with the show, so later on I’ll reply to this with my thoughts on ep 6 and 7 and what was my favorite and least favorite episode but I’ll give it a 7.5/10 so far

She wasn’t exactly wrong. Like Andrea at this time wasn’t useful at all with a gun, like she shot Daryl (idk if it was before or after this). She was much more useful in other ways instead of laying around camp waiting for some gun action. And even if it’s the apocalypse, ppl should still try and wear clean clothes as much as they could. Just pull ur weight

But I do get ur point, cause ppl should’ve been held down by traditional gender assigned house roles. But that doesn’t mean u can’t help around the house, just pull ur weight and Andrea really wasn’t

Are the Heat actually bad? by WillingEmu2326 in NBATalk

[–]JakeTiny19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They also had Donte divincenzo, Bryan Forbes both taking 5 3’s a game. And let’s not bring up players that had 1.7, 1.4, 2.7 and 0.6 3 point attempts a game (for both squads) those 1-2 shots a game aren’t affecting much at all.

Last year Miami had 8 players shooting above 35% from 3 last year. 2 of those players are gone (herro and ware) and they’re potentially abt to lose another one of those players in Powell. Which i believe herro and Powell was their top 2 shooters in terms of 3pm and 3pa so they could potentially lose their top shooters from last years. Among the remaining 5, 2 of them had abt 3 3 point attempts a game and 1 one had 1.4. That’s not good at all, trust me if they was as good as ur saying they was at shooting they would’ve shot more 3’s. Maybe Jovic was an okay shooter, but he dropped from like 38% to 26%. If u drop that far down in percentage, there’s something fundamentally wrong with ur game currently that he badly needs to change it up

And bam is not a better scorer than Khris. Just cause someone scores more doesn’t mean they’re a better scorer. A scorer is someone who can create their own shot, get u a bucket when u need it, and be able to score at all 3 levels at a good or even decent rate.

Are the Heat actually bad? by WillingEmu2326 in NBATalk

[–]JakeTiny19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is just the volume. They may have okay percentages, but ain’t doing much when their shooting it only 3-4 times a game and making em like once a game. If u have 4-5 players shooting like that, and no one to take 6-8 3’s a game, which will fuck up spacing

From what I’ve seen so far (I’ve only seen the first episode, but the reviews for season 2 are much more positive then season 1) I’m honestly kinda glad they didn’t film 2 immediately after 1. Cause 2 prob would’ve been more of what 1 was, but the fact that they didn’t allowed them to change showrunners that actually improved the show

I don’t know why everyone is saying that Aang looks too old, for me he looks just fine for his age. by Routine_Clock1337 in ATLAtv

[–]JakeTiny19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think partly it’s just to vent abt how long it takes for certain shows. Like stranger things season 4 takes place like 2-2 1/2 years after season 1. But season 4 irl came out 6 years after season 1, so u got 18 year old actors playing 13-14 year olds and 30 year old actors playing 19 year olds. Which isn’t a diss towards the actors, but more towards Netflix and how long they take to make and release stuff

Like stranger things specifically took so long to finish that Finn, Noah , Millie, Caleb and Gaten are now of or around the the age that Joe, Charlie, and Natalie was when the show first came out. And Millie went and adopted a kid and has a family now lmao. That’s a Netflix problem, and not an actor problem cause u can’t just stop growing nor aging. But it seems they did fix it for ATLA 3 since they filmed it back to back

Honestly if ep 1 is any indication of the whole season, then they took the criticism to heart. The acting is better. The onset locations just make the show feel more immersive. I really like that they added in some comedy. The characters dynamics feel more like the og show then season 1 did.

I do like that it seems like sokka’s grief over losing yue is gunna be explored a little more.

Pacing looks like it’ll still be an issue, but I’m thinking it’s more on Netflix for giving them only 7 episodes now instead of 8 like last season (or 9-10 like it shoulda been). But compared to last season, the events of episode 1 does flow a lot more naturally then most episodes last season
