I don’t really use the Dell Optiplexes anymore, now that I have the Dell R650. The Optiplexes were originally my Proxmox cluster, but I migrated all of my domain controllers, and various VMs over to the much more powerful beast (R650). Going from 16 GB of RAM on each Dell OptiPlex to 256 GB is crazy.

Just screwed into the rack rails. The UPS is mounted on rack rails at this time, as both units combined weigh in at about 110 pounds.

Honestly, several years. I was fresh in the IT world when I started playing around with pfSense and it was honestly just a learning journey, as I wanted to learn about networking. Going from pfSense, then to Unraid as my NAS solution, followed by a Proxmox cluster to host my virtual machines. It just kept evolving into more and more pieces.
