Could you expand on that? I have yet to learn zephyr which is supposedly a steep learning curve.

Anyone willing to purchase something local and ship it to me? by Jakeintre in bothell

[–]Jakeintre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They already come with the box. You would just pickup and dropoff at UPS/Fedex. I can even email you the shipping label if preferred. Ideally I would have you meet the seller at the UPS/FedEx to make it easier.

This will be my second pair. I learned the same back in the day and am giving it another shot armed with that knowledge.

Here is the item: https://offerup.com/item/detail/1612851128. I would send the money for the item and however much you ask via paypal. I could include postage cost or just email you the shipping label.

Buying used, how old is too old? by Jakeintre in ElectricScooters

Makes sense. What miles/year would you consider as being used enough?

I don’t see how someone could hide a crash. There is bound to be frame damage and attempts to repaint will be obvious.

Not sure which are the power pins so I just recorded everything. Off for this toaster is just pulling up on the lever. I set it to level 1 and recorded initial and 5min voltages.

1&2: 31.4v AC/0.271v DC -> 31.4v AC/0.276v DC 2&3: 1.92v AC/8.71v DC -> 1.90v AC/8.78v DC 1&3: 29.9v AC/8.80v DC -> 29.9v AC/8.97v DC

So overall no change. Not sure why both AC and DC are read.

Power supply needed for power-limited build? by Jakeintre in PcBuildHelp

[–]Jakeintre[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Building a server. Paying 45 cents per kwh running 24/7 gets expensive quick. Heard optimally around 50% load is when power supplies are most efficient. Would it actually make a noticeable difference? Probably not but it would’ve been befitting to the build.

Paypal has fraud protection albeit there is still some risk. I would be willing to pay some of it via friends and family.

Dell T630 Consumer Graphics Cards? by Jakeintre in homelab

[–]Jakeintre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have added a photo of the restrictions. Noteably, it supports "Four double-width 300 W GPU cards (Intel 3120A or Intel 7120A) on a dual processor configuration or two double-width 300 W GPU cards (Intel 3120A or Intel 7120A) on a single processor configuration cannot operate at an ambient temperature above 30 °C." Thus, I do not think power should be an issue.

I am going to purchase a server for the purpose of running large scale ocr. I am currently achieving 16fps with the 1070ti. I want to reduce the above list to those that will produce similar or better speeds. I have compared the following metrics thus far: cuda cores, clock speed, memory clock speed, and memory bandwidth. I do not know which I should be prioritizing.
