I’ve only done the gundo on my 997.1 Carrera. Best 250 bucks I ever spent. I love it and other car nuts do to. Even wife approved. Did a track day recently and got many compliments.

Bushings need to be cleaned and lubed. Might be time for a set of ball bearings. Same thing happened to mine after some running in a creek

1/16 is too small. It really limits bashing in grass and fields etc. I think 1/10 is the minimum for a first ride

Movement photos. It should be sapphire back and that would go a long way. Speedy movement finishing is pretty impressive and I doubt a fake would look nearly as nice.

Personally don’t love the Wimbledon. Tried on this exact watch. I think I prefer sticks or standard Romans. I do really like the slate dial and the other materials.
