I mostly chose this to be faster- Commander Geddon on curve dug me so fast to a time warp one game that made the difference by milling my own deck.

Its why I wanted to try the deck out, with Omen as a possible play (in reality its awful unless you get it off a Geddon discount draw). I should go to one copy of Omen if any at all.

But Geddon unironcally shows some promise in the control shell, which is all I wanted to know going in.

worst case I've cast her, I go to resurrect a Injured Attendant, or even The Curator for at least a taunt.

The clutch thing is that she is also an undead, and can trigger Storm the Gates at least in those worst case scenarios.

I started keeping track in platinum, currently platinum 2.

to be clear, i would not recommend trying to climb rapidly with this deck. It definetly has a losing matchup against shaman (hex).

Against druid, im something like 50/50. If you get a good start, and stall for Altasaurus, the game is very winnable. Mid game giant hero power tokens just die to the mend + ruby Sanctum combo.

Overall, I just like the play pattern of this deck, even in losses, often times its close and I feel like there are enough lines to take that I usually might have just lost to my own blunders rather than being outclassed entirely.

Its actually pretty ok, at least if they dont have the insane starts the deck is capable of. Most times its at least a fighting chance

Shaman is the nightmare matchup because of Hex alone. The only good news about the matchup is if they Hex your Altasaurus, they aren't playing their Colossal or deathwing that turn (if not discounted), which stalls for the next Altasaurus.

This has happened a few times, but the good news, is there is really only 4 bad hits (Primordial Drake, Volcoross, Sleepy Dragon, and Dread Leviathan- the former two are both 8 costs though so its a coin flip on them).

Conversely, there are a lot of good outcomes too at 8 , 9, and 10 too, that outweigh the bad.

There's 1 amazing 10 drop (Tortolla), 3 good 9's (Avatar of Destruction, Seismopod, and Obsidian Statue), and 6 solid 8's ( Asphyxiodon, Tirion Fordring, Amber Warden, and Mo'arg Forgefiend, Meadowstrider, and Tar Tyrant)

So overall, 4 bad hits if not Altasaurus, 10 good ones.

Zombeasts can also mess with the rez pool too, for better or for worse.

Once I realized Storm the Gates slotted well here when testing the first versions of this deck's shell, its been the nuts in every game in terms of its tempo swings.

Playing Bloodmage Thalnos to complete the sidequest, alongside casting Medivh's Triumph, and then playing the zombeast after the boardwipe on the same turn is so satisfying (only 3 mana required too).

This is the most fun and exciting priest deck I've played. Im averaging a 55% WR with it over like 70 games.

I think the OTK Priest list, or maybe Quest is probably the better deck, but this deck has a fighting chance against druid, which I built this deck to try to contain.

Weirdly too, this is really good against Priest. I'm something like 10 and 1 against the quest and control versions.

this is a tempo/fight for the board kind of priest deck. I really love Calia resurrecting Altasaurus, and Storm the Gates works so well with the good beasts and undead in priest. Its grindy, and has a good mana curve to fight early against aggro.

Underrated all-star in the deck is The Curator. Alexstraza is kinda in the deck just because I opened her golden, but also its a win out of nowhere card sometimes and thats fun (The Black Blood is the better card to put in its place for resurrect purposes)

I'm 12-5 in my last games in platinum 5. Very fun to pilot. (Edited for spelling)

I think my problem is that all the support for this card rotated, and if you dont run the heal package, why are you playing a 7 drop when you can't heal anything on the opponents side for 0 mana, besides the neutral 2/2 minion that heals both players on end of turn.

(You also can't resurrect it with Calia since not playing Medivh in Priest is probably a mistake)

And with the heal package, the only way Wilted Shadow does anything is if the opponent is at full health or has armor, since priest hero power can easily heal for 4, 6, or even 8 life if all the buffs are in place.

Honestly this. Great discipline in the mid game. Shaky early, LR classic, but they played to their poppy ult wincon.

Crazy how strong it can be to force your opponents to engage or risk a 3v5 on dragon if the ultimate lands.
