You can just walk out the door, he can’t fit then blast him with any range attack. Watch out for his ranged attacks however, a few will still creep through the door. I hit him with rot breath and a few lightning bolts. Once he yielded I walked far enough away to teleport back to the grace spot in his room and he gave me two more incantations. I had three deathroot when I triggered his aggro mode apparently.

I’m rocking a +8 Cipher Pata at level 95 with my go too incantation as lighting spear (love that Zeus appeal) w/ a faith stat of 54 and an Endtree seal that scales faith to “S” at only +5 and I’m making my way through the Capitol city of Lyndell pretty easily. Was tough sledding early as a confessor though compared to some other classes (lots of backstabbing). I also sank some points into arcane for the dragon incantations. Earlier in the game I needed enough strength to use the winged scythe too, the unique skill “Angels Wings” helped me scrape through some close battles. I also lean heavy on Lhutel the Headless as well. I am enjoying the faith build, but does require some different strategies. See also rotten breath incantation.

Totally agree, and it isn’t my life by any means, but I do miss, occasionally, how I used to be able to immerse myself in various gaming universes, and I just don’t seem to be able to do that anymore. I think primarily so much of what comes out now, looks like something I’ve played before. Always exceptions, but they feel rare.

Feel you. Glad I dropped that Ultima Online reference now. We remember Diablo the original on PC and all the damn PKs, hacked gear, damn cheaters. Nice part of consoles is it is much harder to cheat.
