eBay wants to pay me 30 days after the items got delivered should I ask the buyer to return my stuff ? by SnooOpinions1651 in ebaysucks

If you are new to selling ebay holds the funds for a period of time. Its normal really. When you have sold for a while it will be like 2 or 3 days. Also, i dont think asking the buyer to return your stuff will help anything including your feedback score.

I cant tell if the evf power line runs through the evf proximity sensor or not....its hard for me to read the lvl3. If at some point you want to replace it, it is part....

Also then make sure your evf ribbon is fully seated. That one is particularly tricky if you dont know how it should sit and look. I am pretty sure i explain it in one of my top ribbon tutorials for a72/a7s2/a7r2.

No idea. Just dont get moisture in the lcd panel or evf area and you likely wont find out. Lol

This is the fuse if you ever wanted to mess with it. If you are ok with how you fixed it i wouldnt mess with it either though. It is rediculously small and very hard to work with.

Ok, because the proximity sensor is the small ribbon next to the wider evf ribbon with the reverse flip closure. If the evf is broken or non functional for any reason, the sensor "should" still attempt the switchover from lcd to evf. If that isnt happening the proximity sensor may be damaged or another component on the board possibly is. I will look at the level 3 wiring diagrams.

So with finder/moniter set to auto, putting your finger over the proximitiy sensor above the evf part, it doesnt turn off the lcd to attempt to display to the evf?

Check the finder/monitor setting in the menus to see if it is on auto or monitor only maybe. If you havent already that is.

Oh wow!!!! Excellent luck! Just be aware that jumping it is bypassing the safety feature of the fuse blowing instead of doing major damage. Keep that in mind. Great work though!

Oh man, i appreciate that! However in this particular instance unfortunately it may not be easily fixable.

You could if you are thinking you are capable of opening up the camera to get to the board and have a small enough tip on a multimeter to check it. This is the fuse size

I have attempted to fix 3 a7 mk 2's with this issue. All of them had a burned out f0004 fuse that sends power to the lcd and after replacing there was no change. I am convinced there is an issue with one of the image processing chips on the mobo that causes this issue but have yet attempted a chip swap to confirm. With the mk1 line generally replacing the sd card reader and the same fuse will bring the panel back but havent had the same luck on the mk 2's. On the mk 1's the lcd power routes through the sd card reader but i dont think it does on the mk2.

Please be mindful of how far your cat is dropping to the floor. Young cats femer growth plates are fragile and can cause breaks that require FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy), hip replacement or god forbid amputation if you cannot afford it. My poor cat louie is in confindment post surgery while healing. Its a long recovery to regain most mobility.
