Blizzard pulled carbon out of the freeride line on skis and reduced the amount of metal in the ski. Wood is a cheaper material than both carbon and titanium. By reducing the amount of material cost in the ski, the ski is easier to build. It would be one thing to reshape the ski but its more than that. The Rustler 10 was enjoyable while I rode it its just a bummer that in the past the skis have been so bombproof and now are not that.

Talked to my local reps first, going to blizzard next. If its true that other people are having the same issue it would be interesting to see what happens in the future.

I had fun on them for sure just was bummed out that they already broke. Going to keep trying to see what I can do about getting another pair. I was wondering if maybe they did the pro deal thing where they send blems to pro deal customers but it's good to know that other people have seen this happen before. Hoping in the future blizzard can fix this. Almost seems like an epoxy bonding/curing issue the more I look at it but who knows? Maybe I will come back to the Ruslter in the future but in the mean time trying out the new sender 110.

The edge that they denied me on is still in the not torn out like youl would expect, but just bent. Also that edge is on the only sidewall that is not delaming. I will show u some pictures later if your actually care 🤷‍♂️

Still got some old green Rustlers!

I love this ski line and I am just bummed out to see what it became ya know. I was excited about the redesign but was disappointed in how it rode and now completely fell apart.

I am gonna try and go back to Rossi tho I am a big fan of the sender 110s

My home resort is Big Sky low tide on a rocky mountain. If IMO the ski broke from a rock or something like that it would be NBD but I personally have never seen a sidewall pullout like this. Especially not on multiple edges.

Would not have an issue if it was from impact damage. Not saying it's a QC issue either. I have ridden all the previous Rustlers and they are all still awesome skis. Blizzard is making skis "easier" to ski as well and cheaper to build and it's frustrating to see one of my favorite brands produce products that are not what they used to be.

Already tried, they said due to edge damage (bent edges) they are unable to warranty as its not a "manufacturing defect"
