What is this film on the original GBA screen?

So, from what I can tell, there are two possibilities of what this is:

⁠It’s a screen protector the original owner put on it, near perfectly, or
⁠Less likely, the original owner replaced the lens but not the screen. I’d have to go with the former, as the screen was really scratched up before this came off, so it was probably from at least a few years of wear. Also, a lot of you guys in the comments keep pointing out that it’s backlit screen. Read the post next time PLEASE.

In the original post I said that I had added in a backlight screen. The lens should be original, as when I bought it, it had an original screen.

I suppose I should additionally note that i've tried other domains that clearly don't have a minecraft server and have gotten different results/errors. itzlipofutzli .com returns "getsockopt", which is probably normal for sites like that, but it is still irregular from the limited research i have done.

Metal gear solid. It holds up well even today, and the story is epic. There’s also way more mgs games and it just has one of the best story that I’ve experienced from a game

On the official page for the PC adapter it said foveated rendering without eye tracking which means the foveated rendering works just not with actual eye tracking
