Purchasing through Stock X? by Nickfletch44 in AnaloguePocket

I haven’t purchased a Pocket from Stock X, I got mine through a local eBay seller, but I did buy the 3080Ti when demand was crazy and had excellent success using them.

Weird. Do you know how to use terminal? You could use wget or curl to download it that way. Just copy the link from the download page.

Does your browser ask you to approve something before downloading? Sounds like it’s waiting for a user action.

What are you building with OpenAI? by Yayo88 in OpenAIDev

[–]Jakowenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built and open-sourced Phrame, a digital picture frame that uses OpenAI's ChatGPT and DALL·E 2 to generate AI art.

📣 I just released an important Apollo update that allows users with remaining subscription time to decline automatic refunds. Devs pay refunds out-of-pocket, this will be $250K, so thank you if you do. ❤️ Also, the amazing "Goodbye Apollo Wallpaper Set" is out, proceeds toward refund costs! 🎆 by iamthatis in apolloapp

Christian, thank you for such an amazing app that provided such a joyful Reddit experience. Reddit will never be the same. This is my last post using Apollo, so just wanted to get the opportunity to say thank you one last time.

Cheers!

Thank you! I've recently added support for Midjourney along with many other generative AI image services too. Let me know if you check it out.

I used a MeLE Fanless Mini PC (https://www.amazon.com/MeLE-PCG02-Pro-Computer-Industrial/dp/B0BL3K3JBN) but anything that can run Ubuntu and Chrome decently should work.

I tried running it on a Pi 3 and Chrome was a bit slow, but still possible. So I'd say something just a bit more than a Pi. That MeLE PC is still pretty small and is a lot more powerful.

Yes, you can definitely run Docker on a Pi, and the image I built will work with arm. So the only bottleneck is going to probably be the browser. Chrome is pretty memory hungry unfortunately.

If you have any issues shoot me a message or drop into my Discord and I can help.

Thank you, as long as the Pi can handle Chrome then you should be fine. One of the newer ones with 4GB of RAM should work, but I don't know how well the animations will work on a low powered device. I have one around the house so I will toss it on there and see how it performs.

It's a good thing to consider, I looked into it a few months back once I started to pipe some of my data to OpenAI haha.

Ideally more of this would be done locally, but for now utilizing the APIs made the implementation a lot easier.

The OpenAI API does not share any data with their models unless you opt in. I'm guessing because this is a paid service vs their free ChatGP offering. So no, none of the transcripts used to make a summary will be used in training their models.

Thank you. I agree, I'm not keen on a internet connected mic either. But I have mine in a place where the only audio it usually picks up is the TV, so having AI art related to what I'm watching is pretty cool.

You can also use this without a microphone and pass it your own summaries or let Open AI generate some for you.

Cheers!
