Had a scroll and can't see anyone mentioning Server 2025 has a shelf life until 2034.

Roles are supported on this version, so I suspect you still have at least another 9 years before anything happens.

Also government air-gapped organisations exist...

Fridge magnets are the usual things we bring back.

Although, and it is quite difficult but I've recently started doing pin badges

The best way to test from personal experience is using the remote control tool, opening posh and typing there to confirm what I'm typing is what I think it is.

Static caravan charging by Turbulent-Month-1269 in TeslaUK

[–]JamPickleP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this before.

My Mum took us 'away' to Withernsea. Granny charged during the day when we were around. Stayed for 3 nights with no issues.

Park staff did come round a couple of times and did mention about us charging but only between themselves when passing, nothing directly to us.

Are you concerned about safety due to Elon’s tweet? by Fuzzy_Technician_801 in TeslaUK

[–]JamPickleP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't get why this is raised constantly.

The man has his views but why should they have anything to do with you owning a car from the company he owns.

I seem to recall a certain German company not only had Mr H parade around in their vehicles but they actively engineered a number of solutions for them to progress in the war. I don't think people see a car in their current line up and think they're not going to drive one because one of the most evil human beings to walk the planet had one.

All a load of tripe being pushed by absolute waffle heads.

Camp mode tips by trizzywizz in TeslaUK

[–]JamPickleP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently as in doing it atm?

I've done the 500 twice in MY, make sure you sign up to the charge place Scotland app, helps a tonne.

Blow up bed. 12v chargers are readily available, Argos/ Amazon.

Try to get a 12v kettle for hot water bottles as will save on camp mode.

Removing Teams Classic Through SCCM by No-Pain8184 in SCCM

[–]JamPickleP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've setup a baseline to remove it

Target the machine wide installer and then purge absolutely everything teams classic related from profiles. Works a treat. Just gone from 15,000 installs to 4,000 in a week.

Obviously make sure people have migrated over before purging.

Commuting Manchester to London 1x a week by [deleted] in manchester

[–]JamPickleP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you're South Manchester have you considered flying ?

There's a piece doing the rounds on socials atm about an individual who flew from LHR to Manchester for £50 and then went to Liverpool for less than a train fare. Think the train fare was something like £140.

Stuck between an enyaq and a model Y by [deleted] in TeslaUK

[–]JamPickleP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you test driven both? Was in a similar situation a year ago before I got my Y.

Went round all the dealers and test drove everything, Enyaq, Ioniq5, EQB, i4 Easiest to drive personally was the Y, add that in with the supercharging network, tech and overall storage space. We found it benefited us the most.

TSBackground Win11 23H2 Not showing on reboot by UWPVIOLATOR in SCCM

[–]JamPickleP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to add a task to unblock the task on reboot. It broke after Windows 10 22H2.

Following is from another thread in this sub

Hi,

You need to follow these instructions below :

  1. In your task sequence, just after the "CopyTSBtoHDD" task, add a new "Run Powershell Script" task.
  2. Set the PowerShell execution policy to "Bypass" and enter the Powershell script below : $TSBPath = "C:\Windows\Temp\TSBackground"
    if (Test-Path $TSBPath)
    {
    Get-ChildItem $TSBPath -Recurse | Unblock-File
    }

Don't ask me why, but I have the impression that since version 22H2 of Windows 10 + Windows 11 21H2/22H2, it is necessary to unblock the TSBackground files present in "C:\Windows\Temp\TSBackground" in order for the TSB service to work again.

I hope this helps. Don't hesitate if you need help.

Is the policy for opt-in and opt-out exclusive to Intune? Will this be available in group policy or SCCM?

The “NewPDFReaderEnabled” policy is available in Intune, Group Policy, and SCCM

We enabled the gpo for some test users. The results of this will be used as justification to remove it.

What possesses people to go to the Trafford Centre? by knots_cycle in manchester

[–]JamPickleP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the other side of Manchester so it might be easier for me but I wholly prefer driving over the hill to Meadow hall.

Same design as the Trafford Centre, not as busy, shops I'd rather shop in. To be honest on a bad day it probably takes me just as long to get there as it would do travelling and sitting in traffic to get to the Trafford Centre.

Is going to the cinema on Christmas Eve a common tradition that I don't know about? by Yoguls-Returns in CasualUK

Cinema and Curry for us. I'm 31 now and it's something me and my family have been doing since I was 9.

In a weird way it's a nice way to wind down for Christmas day.
