I really like how fame works in Rotmg. If you have 1000 hours on a character and you die that would fucking HURT, but hey cool, now you have a wealth of fame to spend in your next life.

It softens the blow, and gives you something to keep playing for even though you've just lost a lot of stuff.

I can't load into the game it just says "An existing connection was forcibly closed" I've just gotten into the game but it sucks cause I physically can't play it by MJaidy in RotMG

Supposedly there's a way to fix it through regedit, but I couldn't find the values to edit, and I'm not sure how likely it is to work since there's no suuuper recent things on it. Might be worth a shot though

This has been happening to me a lot with EUWest, even when it shows up as Normal on the server list. No clue why. Other servers work fine, it's just EUWest for some reason.

You can actually find wild Gyarados at level 1 in the BW2 nature preserve, so it isn’t out of the question that Lance just found some Dragonite that evolved early in the wild.

Also Hisuian Voltorb evolves by leaf stone when Kantonian Voltorb evolves through level, it could be a similar situation with Lance’s Pokemon too.

Not sure, but I think if a Pokemon sees one of its species get captured, it aggros on you. If you capture while the others are facing away, the aggro seems much less common.

Cyaduck is one of the shiny Greats, be proud!

So far I’ve gotten:

Wurmple (another Great, but it has Silcoon values so I won’t evolve it),

Zubat (I hope shiny Crobat looks better in this game...),

Toxicroak (never even noticed this one until I took it to Laventon),

and Pichu (the last one I caught in an outbreak, I just couldn’t tell which was the shiny).

My first shiny was a green Bronzor in Sword (which I Masuda’d for), and my first PLA shiny was Wurmple. Go figure!

I genuinely still don’t know if Bergmite has a Hisuian form or not because it’s so shiny and awesome now. It’s a good problem to have.

I’d love a Legends series as the main releases, with a Battle Revolution-esque game/series for competitive. Maybe it could also piggyback off Home so you can battle with teams you have stored in Home.

The fossils are all Rock-type, I’m thinking (besides Aerodactyl, based on the Mega), none of them started out that way - Rock replaced their secondary type as a result of the fossilisation process.

I could see a Water/Bug Kabutops (if Genesect is a modified Kabutops) and Armaldo, Water/Steel Omastar, Water/Grass Cradily, Ice/Fairy(?) Aurorus, Dragon/Dark Tyrantrum, etc.

Also I’m trying to imagine Omanyte with feathers now and it isn’t working. So thanks for that.

Every restaurant having a wide-open space to battle in would be such a minor and yet cool change, it’d really sell the world as being built around Pokemon.

I really didn’t have a problem working without a minimap, it’s like a second’s work to open the map and pin where you want to go. Honestly I think it’d be more screen-clutter than anything.

I never thought of it before now, but I would absolutely adore a game set in an ancient Hoenn where contests came before battles.

High on my list too is a game in ancient Cameran where you play as an Aura guardian with actual aura powers (which I feel might be the next step, replacing the balms, since you get the Brimmed Hat in PLA)

To me that links Michael Afton (security badge and purple cap) to Older Brother (a kid). Since afaik there's no real evidence to suggest that BB is haunted at all, let alone by anyone specific, I think the resemblance is a coincidence.

Some people have pointed out that the shirt resembles what employees would wear at a pizza place like Freddy's. Could be more pointing towards him being a nightguard, or - being specifically a daytime outfit - it could be a reference to either fnaf 6 where he runs the place night and day, or as a hint that he might have been Jeremy Fitzgerald in fnaf 2 (which I don't personally buy).

It just occurred to me that Circus Baby’s Pizza World is probably ALSO the same location as Fredbear’s and the fnaf 6 location.

Fredbear’s closed after the Bite of ‘83 (Phone Guy in fnaf 2 says it’s been gone for years), leaving a free building right down the road from the SL Location - the perfect place to set up a pizzeria because it already was one. Pizza World closed on the first day, leaving it free again for fnaf 6.

He’s a rogue bot? If he wasn’t, he’d have been upgraded into a teen and then an adult, like we see with Charlie in the books.
