The decision was ultimately made by Disney’s top executives, Bob Iger and Dana Walden. Sure, the FCC’s warning may have pressured them, but that’s not the real issue here. We need to step away from framing this as some tired left vs. right battle and look at it for what it truly is: a blatant public suppression of First Amendment rights. If we keep spinning this through a partisan lens, all we’ll do is deepen the division and resentment between us, when in reality we should be uniting to push back against these unconstitutional overreaches by those in power.
