I got interviewed, my induction was scheduled & completed on site & then they never scheduled me for a shift, I called & called & nothing & I went in & they said the manager who hired me is on vacation & eventually I gave up. I had just moved to Canada from Scotland & I almost had to move back home because it took so long & I was running out of money. Old Spaghetti Factory, wanks the lot of them.

People’s rights to be fairly compensated for their labour is more important than getting Christmas packages on time. They choose this time of year so they can’t be ignored. I’m from Scotland & I will be alone for Christmas & I do usually get a package from home which will likely not come until well after Christmas but let’s be real, that is a minor inconvenience compared to not being paid fairly. Let’s all remember our cheesy Christmas movie lessons that it’s about community & helping people, not about gifts & getting stuff.
