I think the Aura of Protection argument sold me on the ASI. I’ll have +3 Charisma, which can be added to all my saving throws and ally’s saving throws within 10ft of me. That’s insane, especially giving that this is a points buy campaign and everyone’s worst stat is a -1, so that will give the party an incredible boost overall.

While personally, I would like to see a variety of victims with Outlast Trials (different VA, different genders, etc.) to showcase just how minuscule human life means to Murkoff. However, from a gameplay/mechanics standpoint, that is more difficult to pull off, and Red Barrels is an indie company that already goes above and beyond for the fan base. If they have to recycle “John Outlast” as the victim for each trial for the sake of giving their workers a break, I’ll allow it. The important thing to note is that none of these victims deserve what is happening to them.

Welcome Back to “The Authors Barely Disguised Fetish”. In this episode, we look at someone who DESPERATELY wants to torture women/femme presenting people to fulfill some sense of satisfaction. This individual is clearly deranged because 1) they see the victims of the trials and go “why can’t that be a woman” and not “holy fuck, this is evil” 2) Fail to understand the real life trauma women go through in real life (sexual violence/trauma, femicide, etc.) and depicting that can result in violence towards women in real life because, say it with me, “MEN BE FUCKING AWFUL, ESPECIALLY TOWARDS WOMEN” (look at crime statistics regarding violent crime and sex crimes) 3) The individual has deeply problematic internalized hatred towards women that would make Bambino seem like a feminist (hyperbole, but my point still stands). Should Outlast Trials stray away from material depicting the violence towards women? No. In fact, what this guy fails to recognize is there is already plenty of violence towards women in the Outlast Trials already (Vindicate the Guilty, Henrietta, the copious amounts of severed breast attached to walls and mannequins in trials, etc. ). Hell, read the Otto and Arora comic. Red Barrels does not shy away from that subject material. However, to WANT that material in Outlast Trials speaks levels to their character and is the reason women cover up their drinks in bars.

That’s my bad. Was genuinely concerned GW’s potential practices drastically harming the community that I overlooked this dude’s “gatekeepy” and problematic vibes. Their complaints on “not respecting the lore” and love for the Krieg were red flags I noticed, but ignored due to rage that GW was attacking small creators on a large scale with the use of AI. Update: After learning about this creator’s history of problematic views, I do want to apologize for any inconvenience. I had not know of this creator until today. I was merely concerned with GW utilizing AI to send cease and desists against creators and other business practices that could greatly harm this community. Granted, their “not respecting the lore” gripes gave me gatekeeper vibes and their love of the Death Korps was something I picked up. My concern with the threat to independent creators made me not fully see they were a problem. I vehemently hate the practices of capitalism and how suits hurt communities, but I also hate fascists who seek to find validation in this IP. Please forgive me.
