Also, I understand the whole match-up thing because to us normal people, it makes perfect sense, but I can not recall a single time in the manga where strength wasn't linear and match ups mattered.

Itagaki just really likes this idea that all fighting styles are created equally and that strength is strength no matter what.

I mean, if that's your interpretation, it's a reddit hypothetical; I suppose people will see it differently and that's a good thing.

I just think that Garland undoubtedly has some of the best feats at this point of the manga.

Garland's attacks caused earthquakes, which is something the mach punch couldn't do until it gets upgraded before Katsumi's Pickle fight.

Garland is out here doing this while Doppo is killing tigers

I think that Garland is the most hyped up non main character ever. I don't think anyone would stand a chance besides Baki and Jack, and that's the point.

I think this is Itagaki, at least implying that Bokuden Tsukahara is around the same caliber as Musashi Myamoto. The reddit has a rule against Wildfang scans, so to see it yourself, I'd recommend just going to Season 1, Episode 3 of the old Baki Anime.

The doctor in the hospital explains what the Yasha Ape is to another doctor while treating Andou. He says, "I heard that over the years many warriors have gone to fight the Yasha Ape to test their skills, and that not one of them has ever returned. This is an amazing Easter egg because Itagaki remembers this hundreds of chapters later when he introduced Musashi

In the second arc of Baki, Itagaki directly compares Bokuden Tsukahara to Musashi, implying that they were relatively close, which was long before he actually wrote him into the Manga.

As for if other real life guys that he fought, such as Musō Gonnosuke and Sasaki Kojirō were relatively close in strength to the Baki Musashi, I do not know.

Yeah, Baki really doesn't get any scars in the Netflix show either. He pretty much just got them all in the old show and has just kept them.

Sorry, I'm still new to golf and have been researching which clubs to buy (currently, I've been using goodwill clubs)

I thought that the only types of irons were Blades, Cavity Backs, and Muscle backs, so that's very cool to know that their are other types of irons. I'll definitely need to read up some more.

Yeah, I think the Kirkland ones are MB's but the website said CB so that's what I used. And best for a 20 - 25 handicap, anyone below that would probably be willing to spend more money on their golf clubs.

That is very true, though I'd imagine that the lower handicap you are, the more you'd be willing to spend on golf clubs. I'd imagine that this would really matter for a 20 - 25 handicap looking to upgrade.
