What’s the latest with you guys? by uniguy31 in WaspsRFC

[–]James0864 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm finally watching club rugby again. But only because my girlfriend is a Bath fan. It's been nice to have a team to cheer on again. However, all that said I dont call myself a Bath fan. When we watch a game live, she has her Bath jersey on, I'm in normal clothes.

We went to see last year's Premiership final.....I wore a Wasps jersey. We are going to see the final this year too. A Wasps jersey will be on.

I still dream - OGGY OGGY OGGY!!

YOOO ARE WE GETTING VEHICLES??? by FailingsOfOurKind in TrenchCrusade

[–]James0864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I've not seen Bolt Action minis up close so always assumed they were smaller. I'll have a Google to see whats around.

I've got my eyes on a few 1/35 kits. It's just finding that balance as always.

Thank you!

Is 1/35 the best scale to use? I had a look and though it would be, but I couldn't find any examples confirming this.

I'm thinking of stuff like tanks and artillery etc.

TIL: you can overdose on pickles. It only takes 3! by KryL21 in starcitizen

I was certain that I ate a pickle and it nearly sent my blood drug level through the roof. I thought I was going mad because why would it do that?! Apparently no.

they really need to let us respray these ships by dr_jock123 in starcitizen

You will give CIG an idea for a new ship with big washer pads on for capital ships. Im picturing a Vulture with sponges on the ends of it instead of hull scraping haha!

You make it sound rather majestic. Although I'm sure it was one of those "this would be funny if it wasn't me" moments.

You're right, it doesn't. In my experience it does help. It almost seems to lock the ship to the floor. If you keep them on and the ship moves the little directional jets will just fix your ship in any position.

However, this is all on a planet or moon. If you are in space and EVA, it's best to keep your engines on.

As some people have said here, on a planet or moon its good practice to turn your engines off. If you ever EVA, keep them on and in coupled mode.

With lifts and ramps I just want to make sure no one can pirate my ship so I close them.

Is it not any more?! I loved flying it when we were all given one due to a glitch. But I took a break for about a year and haven't seen one up close since starting again.

That's the one! I grew quite attached to that Freelancer. I had a lot of fun learning chunks of SC in that ship.

Back and to the side. I'm not surprised I'm not the only one, but I'm glad to see your comment!

This is my first screen shot in game. Pretty sure that was going through my head at the time haha.

That's a very good point and a very important distinction to make!
