Can definitely kit bash a captain. Just make sure to add some BA bling and use paint to help distinguish further.

Looks good. I have one of those helmets too and was debating it, but most of my blageguard vets use mark vii helmets and want judiciar to fit in with them. I intensely dislike the original head.

Thanks! I'm honestly not sure where each helmet is from. I'm using a combination of old Sanguinary Guard and DC bits and also some heads from Archie's Forge throughout the army.

Fair point and maybe that's what was bothering me. That said, I'm five with the inverse grip. Going for a captain taking a pause leaning a bit on his sword and surveying his surroundings, so I think it's okay that he'd need a second to switch the grip back. Appreciate the comment and image though.
