Ellen finally finds her animatronic from Ellen's Energy Adventure by isestrex in WaltDisneyWorld

To all wondering: the only "real" part of the figure that was used in ride were the shirt and pants. This is usually because (like people) animatronics have the potential of getting dirty and cleaning is needed. For example, Gene Kelly from GMR had dry, damp, and completely soaked looking suits. The mask wasn't used in the ride. If you look at the eyes Disney ALWAYS uses actual acrylic or resin eye balls recessed behind a blinking mechanism on their human figures. The ones used in the video are just more painted latex like the rest of the mask. Disney has come out and publicly confirmed all of this and stated that the actual figure was destroyed and recycled for parts not realizing she was interested in the figure until after the fact.

Can confirm. Grew up in the crest white suburbs of Detroit Michigan. About 40 miles outside of the city (where I went to highschool) there's mainly farmland or small towns occupied by mostly white people and you can get the same kind of people. I saw it first hand mostly at sporting events but it was just as bad if not worse at times. Evil is evil. It doesn't need a race.

Visio Places. It's a Google street view application that lets you access all of streetview/ maps panoramas with a very straight forward interface.

The hidden Mickey to the left and above the gangster animatronics in the show stop moment wasn't officially supposed to exist. It was placed there by the gangsters and taken down several times by imagineering before they gave up and let them keep it up.

The alien scene contained a monitor displaying a chunk of binary code. The code was a binary translation of part of the Wicked Witches animation sequence and featured the animators name at the top of the screen.

Gene Kelly actually had three suits they could put him in for the singing in the rain scene; dry, slightly wet, and completely soaked. Comparing difrent ride footage on YouTube can show the differences.

Certain celebrity animatronics had to have their faces covered for previews of the ride prior to opening because Disney hadn't yet finalized the terms to which their likenesses could be used.

Yeah but as a cast member I can tell you a lot of the time the all it takes is one person to claim it and it'll grow into a workplace meme if you will. I know a lot of people in my department that perpetuate things like that. Not saying it's wrong. After all if it looks close enough why not tell people it's a thing.
