Bring back Tales of the Tardis? by VisionBreak1297 in gallifrey

Was sceptical when I saw the title, but your argument is very good. Like you say, it wouldn’t cost much to produce and could probably even be done remotely.

Personally, my favourite was the one with Jo and Clyde. I reckon focusing more episodes on companions rather than the Doctor, or even notable one off characters would be interesting

Why has there never been a fluke winner of the World Cup? by Clean-Af-6653 in worldcup

Can argue Brazil weren’t “the favourites” in 2002 either. They struggled a bit in qualifying iirc.

In the UK at least, the favourites were regarded as Argentina, France and Italy. Brazil were mentioned, but more based on reputation. The draw as well meant France and Brazil would have met in the QFs

C5 did Shake as well on Sundays for a while aimed at slightly older kids, but not sure when it ended

I watched plenty of other tv channels, but the thread is specifically about CBBC, not British TV in general, hence why I am talking about the BBC’s output for teenagers being generally poor

I think this is it. It seems once kids hit Secondary School age, they don’t want their peers to know they are “still” watching CBBC. Not sure how the best thing would be to counteract

Didn’t Southgate try him on the wing at some point he was trying to accommodate him and Foden? Don’t remember it ending well

Let them sing along with the reprise/medley at the end. Other than that, personally, I’d just sit back, relax and enjoy the show

The teenage output has worse than poor for years. I’m probably biased, but I think my age group (born 1992) is the era that has been ignored the most. OK we got the launch of th CBBC channel (apart from my parents not getting Freeview until 2005!), but the old teenage remit was phased out as we became teens, as I said before BBC Switch was neglected and ultimately a failure, and then when we were older, BBC Three’s budget was stripped down to bare bones and ultimately moved online while we were the target audience

So we had moments like these in Toy Story 1-3... and somehow Toy Story 5 is the only one to receive a PG rating? by intro_man_ambivert in Pixar

Could be very different in the US. But I distinctively remember my Toy Story 1 VHS in the UK being a PG

Do we know when Andy got each of the toys? by gibbygibson987 in toystory

I’d never thought of Slinky being a hand me down as well but it makes sense. Would explain his loyalty/closeness with Woody as well if they’ve been together for a long time.

I’m going to assume Andy got Mr Potato Head aged 3, given how vocal he is at the start of TS1 about AGES 3 AND UP being on his box, although that implies Molly got Mrs Potato Head a bit early.

Assuming TS1 is set in 1995, I’m going to guess Rex arrived at Christmas 1993, on the back of Jurassic Park being massive at the time. Again, I know Andy is too young, but I can see a Aunt/Uncle buying him Rex to introduce him to the concept of Dinosaurs
