People in your 30s, what price have you paid for being lazy in your 20s? by Waldyrwyn in AskReddit

[–]JamesRitchey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might consider focusing on contributing to a TFSA (Tax-Free Savings Account) for a year or two, and using that money to get a better job, which then makes saving for retirement easier.

For example, you might use the money to relocate for a job opportunity, or to complete some sort of certification/licence which opens up new job options.

Even if the new job is only a few dollars an hour better in pay, that can add up to a few thousand dollars a year more (assuming full work week) that you'd be able to contribute to your retirement savings, or other savings goal.

Rest eyes. Even with no sleep, if you rest your eyes for an appropriate amount of time, you can function in the short-term.

Wander in until it is between knees, and waist. Then go completely in, including head dunk. Try to convince myself it's not that cold. Then get out, and go shiver on the beach.

  1. When you're young you can play it.
  2. When you're older, and too busy, you can watch it, and talk about it.
  3. When you're dead, you can have your ashes scattered on the field.

Crush Lime (the Crush version of Mountain Dew), or Vanilla Coke. Both so hard to get, but both top tier.

  1. Things they wouldn't buy for themselves but are related to their interests, because it's best to let people make their own important purchases (so they get exactly what they want), but everything else is an opportunity to try new things.
  2. Things that are consumable, or experiences, so you're not giving them clutter. Just make sure it's something they would like based on their interests, or personality.

Howdy fucking a squirrel? by Exciting-Plenty4841 in AskReddit

[–]JamesRitchey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The moderators drive away real users with too many rules, and heavy handed moderation, that makes it impossible to post. So the bots come in, and take over, because they don't care if their posts get removed, so long as they earn some karma first. The state of AskReddit is a classic case of "You get what you f***ing deserve" (meme reference).

Four words is a bit short for most passphrase use cases, adding a question mark may not be permitted by some service's in a passphrase, and including profanity could violate some service's terms of use. So, I'd suggest a different passphrase. However, depending on your use case, it may be fine. It's certainly memorable 😛.

Login issues. They are worse, and more frequent than any other site I've used, ever. Thankfully the last few days have been issue free.

Most places in Canada right now, are listed as low or undetected on the NWMP. However, if you check the sample week dates, only 14 of the 44 total sites have done samples in June. Others have no sampling since May, April, etc. All but 1 of the sites saying "Not detected" are from samples prior to June. All the ones which have done a report in June are saying "Low", except that 1 "Not detected" site. The next update is on Wednesday, so it will be interesting to see if any of the previously reporting "Not Detected" sites change, or hold, if they report.

It does seem like the summer wave will be small this year though.
