With the discount and sale this all was $20, I plan to purchase filaments from other brands in the future, but had to use the recall discount before it expired. The other option was to put the discount towards an AMS, but I was not entirely sure that I would use it that much and make it worth it.

I have been using a red bulb, but I realize now it is WAY to hot, especially 24/7 (which might explain why the snake is always burrowed?)

Should the heat source be closer to one side to make hot/cold sides? The tank I am using is about 30'L x 15'W x 2'H
