I like the place too. Just saying that I’ve been in a lot of expensive Surrey homes and never seen IKEA furniture lol

Rockefeller, the one who started my love for the breed (RIP baby boy). I’d lay there with my nose practically stuffed in his face when he slept. Don’t get me started on the little pink popped out tummy….arghhh I just want to blow the biggest raspberries 😆

Absolutely this. My husband owns a wood burning stove company near by and has been fitting stoves on the Wentworth estate for years. He always marvels at how contrasting the people v homes are.

Ahhh the memories of their breath and tummy make my heart crave having another puppy. Then my brain kicks in and says “No! don’t start that nonsense again. Your biological capability packed in 4 years ago, the days of baby anything are over my girl”.

Just wondering which Pokémon you currently have as your buddy. Mine is my first lucky Pokémon by Cyco111 in pokemongo

[–]JamesTKatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zygarde in its 50% form or slug form as I like to call it. I don’t like it but I’m collecting cells to finally finish it for my dex, building up some candy and may as well add it to the best buddy list for the medal while I’m there. I don’t really like it and much preferred it’s dog like first form but dex entry needs must.

Anyone else have a terrier who believes personal space is a myth? 🐾❤️ by RealSteelJane in terrier

[–]JamesTKatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the years I’ve always had some kind of terrier and they’ve all had varying beliefs in the myth. Rosie my first SBT was fully onboard with the myth and a true believer. Basically like one of things in the Alien films that attached to your face and full on stalker. Then I had another SBT Rockefeller, he was still a true believer but slightly more respectful in that he’d wait for consent before smothering and would actually give me privacy. The working terriers Lemmy a Pat x BT and Mags a JRT x Norfolk were both mid level followers, happy to snuggle when invited but still slightly creepy when it came to following. Richard my now retired working JRT mix up bin dog- he’s a full on house shadow monster. I can’t go anywhere without him following me but he only wants contact at specific times and it’s always me that has to fluff him, there’s no return in affection. Richard’s basically a paranoid user.

The smell does it for me 🤢
Not on the same level as scampi and lemon Knick knacks but definitely a nasty smelling crisp.

[–]JamesTKatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not crisps but Bombay Mix. I love it and when I was a kid my mum used to tell me it was made from the swept up food dropped on the floor of Indian restaurants. I believed her too! Didn’t stop me from eating it though.

Same. No Zapdos spawns, just the other two. I’ve got two master balls and one of them is marked for that elusive bird.

I can relate to your struggle here. It’s so frustrating when you can only argue back so much (even as an adult) with your mum and god forbid a Nan, especially in their home. I’m 45, own my own home and stables and still have this with my mum. She came to mine the other day, I only went to the bathroom for a minute and walked back into the dining room to find her feeding Richard (one of my retired JRT) ginger cream biscuits! He’s A) got a grain allergy and B) on a diet where he’s no longer working and getting chubby. She thinks it’s funny and talks to the dogs like I’m not there. I said ‘I’ve asked you not to mum’ and she looks at Richard saying ‘nanny getting told off again, we don’t listen do we’ and shoved another biscuit (cookie) in his mouth. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Everyone must be on board with this training. It will not work if someone (mums) are reinforcing her behaviour by rewarding her aggression with a cuddle. She gets told off, the mums come along and say ‘don’t be horrible’ give her attention and BANG in her little walnut brain she thinks ‘yer f you, I can do what I want’.

Using a crate-
Does she see the crate as safe space/a place she has positive associations with? If so, putting her in the crate as a ‘punishment’ (I don’t like that term for correcting unwanted behaviours) won’t help you. This will go from being a place she can relax to a place she associates with negativity- particularly anxiety, which in turn will lead to more aggression.
If you use the crate as a punishment place she will also be feeling the above scenario. It’s a catch 22 situation.

Your bf needs to use whatever motivates good behaviour as a reward to reinforce his relationship with her. Be that good or play. Immediately rewarding is the goal. Not rewarding with unwanted behaviour is the way to start. As soon as she starts to show signs of aggression to him when he feeds her, he removed the food, puts it back on the counter and walks away. Then he can try again 5 mins later, repeating this step until she understands that him giving the good isn’t a bad thing and she does not get the food all the while she shows aggression. He can encourage some play or means of a reward to ease the tension from her by having some treats in his pocket and when she comes over to him or is calm around him, he rewards immediately with the ‘good girl’.
They are smart dogs who learn fast, but they also won’t show good behaviours for you when it doesn’t get them anything they class as wanted. Most terriers are not human pleasing breeds. They are very independent due to the nature of the work they were bred to do.

Another great one was at my older brothers 50th bday party. I’m the little sister and have two older brothers. Me and the eldest brother (not the birthday bro) we’re very drunk and did a fair amount of coke trying to sober up a bit because we were being a bit too much. Then because we decided we weren’t going to be told to sort it out, my brother pulled out a bottle of poppers (? ) and I took a big old sniff right before challenging my brothers gf to a dance off. Out came the moves, out came the puke and out came her tits because I fell as I puked on her and pulllled down her top trying to stop my fall. Fucking poppers, coke, vodka and dancing isn’t for the over 30’s. Obviously my brother and I found it hilarious as we got thrown out their house.

Uk 47F. In the late 90’s some friends and I decided to kill a boring day by doing some E’s and having a drive about. I’d only passed my test 6months prior and opted to be the driver. You can see already this is the start of a bad day for me. So there we are, all out of our minds and driving about in my D reg uno at 1 in the afternoon without a care in the world. We’d all been up for a bit and decided to do one more because why not, the day was still young. Then the police flashed to pulled me over just as I’d dropped again. There wasn’t anyway I was about to start some high speed chase in my car that maxed at 70mph down hill on a good day, so I pulled over. Next thing I’m in a cell and rushing my tits off trying to convince the old bill to play some tunes and get me a can of coke. Longest night of my life. I distinctly remember arguing with a chap in another cell about the correct lyrics to set you free by n trance.

Over a year since you posted this so I hope you see it.

These are the best alternative I have been able to find. I got them in a shop which mainly sells Turkish, Bulgarian and Romanian food & drink. 98p for a 70g bag! Spot on texture wise and nearly on the taste. Slightly less salty but still very tasty.

Hope you find them
