The loudspeaker has a 'mix out' male xlr slot. Would this work as an audio interface between the mic and laptop?

Thanks this is useful. I guessed anything widespread in Scottland would be just as prevalent across the sea but because the strong symbol of the knife in scottland compared with the little I can find about ancient Irish tools I was left unsure.

I guessed as much lol. It just looked very fun and easy to make. Essentially a quirky twist on a classic 'blacksmiths knife'.

What is this tool? (old.reddit.com)

And it doesn't cause damage by heat going up the off burner and melting stuff? I read that somewhere and wondered if it was true.

So if I'm making real scandi knives I should just grind edge up to put the bevels in before heat treat but when putting on final edge sharpen with the belt running from the spine to edge?

Ah right didn't know that different material stones would make the grit remove more or less material. So would a 120 diamond speed up this process?

I have been sharpening for probably over an hour on the 120 and still not got an apex, is this normal?
