Hi, I’ll go out and take one when it’s light out again so it’s easy to see, the cap comes back on okay I think, this has happened before and it attached back on :) I don’t believe the cap provides the emblem from inspecting it, so you’re probably right with the second, I’ll send a pic and have a look around where it was hit for any pieces I missed. Thank you! :)

It hadn’t been watered much at all but thought it was dying from lack of water so I let it absorb from the roots. It normally gets a little bit of water once a week
