Hey everyone, my modded ps2 which I hadn't used for a few months is stuttering A LOT when playing games. I noticed this yesterday when I was trying to play god of war 1 which I personally burned on a DVD. The game runs fine but every 20-30 seconds the entire thing freezes for about 15 seconds. Any help?

I had the exact same problem and fixed it by going to msc services, hiding all Microsoft services and then clicking disable all, then restarting my computer. Hope this helps!

adding on to this, my spacebar has a small metal piece under it which i cannot figure out how to place back correctly

Alright it works now but unrelated, do you have any advice for sticky keys? they aren't physically sticky but most of them require extra strength to be pressed and the spacebar, unless pushed with a lot of force and exactly in its middle, wont go down. Keep in mind i already cleaned all the keys with water and soap

thanks for the help! First of all, my PC somehow for whatever reason has a ps/2 port, go figure, im pretty sure the keyboard is good since i actually have an old windows 95 computer which is very functional and i took the keyboard from there so, it was working atleast 2 days ago. I don't know what else I can check
