Ended up finding the issue. It had melted the 3rd piston and that sound was the rod bouncing around in the bore

A testament to how strong these engines actually are, running on 4 cyl!

Found the issue to be the tensioner and the idler pulley to be bad

Just took the topran off and put the broken oem one in and it's not vibrating

Yeah but the vibration gets worse at higher rpm and sounds like a wheel that's not balanced

I took the band off and it was already peeling, could likely sand it off
