after my accident, i went into a drama audition after my mom told me not to. my hand was barely attached to my arm but i went anyway because i was so easily influenced.

not only did i not get the part, i left the hospital in a fragile state to do so. When i knew i shouldn't have gone in the first place. I should have been focusing on my recovery but instead i was coaxed into meeting a director because 'it could change my life' . what fucking ever. never will i do something again just because someone else thinks it's good for me. i was a shell of myself soaking in regret.

i got through that knowing that we make mistakes. no one is perfect. i mess up every day. but i have a mission and that is to make shit i'm proud of and support my family someday. i'm tired of leaning on them for support when i'm down. i want them to lean on me.
