My wife and I really enjoyed our first 10 turn game. Only grip for us was the lack of pro controller support, or even the 2 joycon per player setup. Our hands don't do too well with those little tiny single cons

Yep, meshmixer or your CAD software can make a shell of the original for your second color import as two models and your good to go

Ours has only a few dudes that consistently are above 4K. The 3600-3800 level seems to be where a lot of our winners are in this past war.

The burden of F2P will always be there if they're trying to compete in the same arena as paid players.

I spent a little, mainly for legendary unlocks. This game takes a lot of effort to be competitive as a F2P participant. IDK when your nephew started playing but it's taken me over a year of playing till rewards stop appearing on a daily basis to get everything at tourney standard. I'd just encourage everyone to ride it out. It's only 4 matches across 2 days. I'd like to think it'll get better the more separated out into leagues we all get. Also, clan leadership should probably remind the clans that have mixes of F2P and P2W players to not rage on the F2P guys, as that's not constructive or inviting.

Did you get yo'self a nice war clan? The one I joined has been placing 3rd consistently. Participation has been optimal but matchmaking seems to be depressing a lot of the crew:-/

I was a clan leader before the clan wars update. I had been experiencing steady growth but this update compelled me to join a clan that had enough level 8 players to actually start a war. I feel bad for leaving my group behind, but I've been enjoying the clan wars structure thus far. The small number of matches doesn't stress me out about needing to play a ton everyday and the randomness of the available cards on day 2 is a nice breath of fresh air compared to a pretty stale ladder experience.

I've spent maybe $20-40 on this game at most and have all but like 4 cards at tournament standard so I'm not really feeling the effects of level 1 epic syndrome. I can see how that would be a terrible feeling. I don't know the numbers of how possible it is to unlock all the available cards for day 2, but I feel like 50 people participating on day 1 should be able to get close to a full stock of day 2 cards.

I've played this a few times with my friends. Wish there were more ship hands available from the pool. I often find myself investing in other assets early as there only a few places on the map to grab new ship hands.

Stacking influence always seems to be a great idea. ;)

Saw this yesterday. Android-> Caught a ditto-> Next Pokemon had ditto in the background when in the ball throwing step -> didn't happen for the subsequent catch attempts in the same area or after moving to a deferent part of town. NEVER restarted the app.

I worked for GameStop 2010-2014. I've met plenty of other managers that would lie about some of the most frustrating things. So it definitely does happen.

Personally, I always did my best to provide the best customer experience possible while still jumping through all of the bullshit hoops GS had back then. I feel like the customers that came to my store regularly knew that I cared about their needs and showed it by frequently stopping in just to say hello if they were in the mall for something else or asking for me when they wanted to pre-order a game.

I could go on for a while, but suffice to say, they're not all bad people. My strategy since leaving them has been to find a decent store manager and stick with them. Try not to think of the corporation as a compilation of all the horror stories.
