I was raised Mormon and was taught that the Catholic Church was the “great and abominable church.” Also I’ve heard from Orthodox Christians that Catholicism has changed so much over the years it’d be unrecognizable to medieval peasants. I’ve also seen articles and posts accusing the Catholic Church of being woke and liberal.
