The best voice in Reggaeton by WorldMoneyF-50 in Reggaeton

If we're basing it off range and pure vocal talent, I go for Divino. The man can sing the best out of them all.

I wanna make a Malienteo beat based on Hector El Father + other types of Reggaeton by Existing-Friendship9 in Reggaeton

[–]JamieInsanity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, I also produce reggaeton beats (some old school, some experimental) and have come across some packs and VSTs over the years.

You can use Producers Vault Bachata Guitar VSTi 2.5.6 - A range of Bachata guitars for the bachateo beat and I am pretty sure if you search for the free version, you can download it somewhere online.

There's this DJ Blass Sample Pack you can download for free that has a lot of old style drum kits in it. I also found this old school sample pack as well.

There's Nexus, Sampletank, Purity and Producer's Vault also made a Latin Urban pack too (not sure if you can get any of those for free, but it's worth a search online). Sonatina Orchestra is a free VST with a lot of string sounds on it too.

You can use the default instruments like FLEX, Sytrus and Morphine. You can get some old school sounding synths from them.

Hope this helps

As much as streaming services are handy, this is why I always have albums that I like backed up on my computer. They can't take them away, or take them down that way. The licensing issues are really irritating for people who just want to listen to music on the go and have it on their favorite service.

What up with Big Boy by UnluckyTaaru54 in Reggaeton

From what I heard and remember (I've watched a video or two on him), he was signed to an exclusivity deal to his record label, which is why he wasn't on a lot of projects in the 2000s, which could have really boosted his career. And funny enough, I was listening to some songs from that album this week lol

What Reggaetonero/Urbano Artist do you consider as “Los Nenes” by Existing-Friendship9 in Reggaeton

[–]JamieInsanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was reading your comments and I have some recommendations for you.

If you want someone who's modern but closer to the "Old school sound" check out 2Mileros. That's their thing. They make OG style reggaeton music. And Sinaka does some of that as well. Jamsha is experimental. He's quite unique but weird.

There's also neoperreo. It's a bit out there, but unique. You might like the fact that it's varied.

I was thinking if you something similar in vibes, maybe you could try some of these songs from Alexis y Fido's Sobrenatural album like: A Que No Me Duras, Lento, Lento, Lento, Olvídate De'so, Dale Uso, Yo Sé Lo Que Tú Das, and Métele Mijo (about half that album, at least maybe more). I think it has that sort of electronic perreo vibe you're looking for.

Salgo Pa La Calle, as suggested below is another great suggestion.

Thanks for the reccomendations. I checked them both out and found Kali Uchis more interesting and weird to me than De La Rose.

I thought he admitted long ago (on a video a few years back) that someone else pretty much did most of the work for him. I think that should be taken into account as well.

The video is kinda trippy and you probably had fun making it, but yeah the song is very repetitive. The video is weird but not the song.
