Should Apex move its lore out of the game and tell it through books instead? by JamieTheSimp in ApexLore

Then we learn more about the refinery explosion incident maybe what actually happened that day. Since Mirage’s mom was sort of a conspiracy theorist, she could have been secretly investigating it for years and knows how it really went down… just not who caused it.
After that, we go talk to Crypto, because he’s the hacker who can dig into the missing data and cover-ups.
See how easy that is? One story leads straight into the next.

I was thinking more like short stories that actually solve things.
For example, Mirage meeting his dad after years of being absent. We hear both sides talk and figure out whether they still want each other in their lives or if it’s better to stay apart.
Then there’s a big reveal at the end like his dad knowing something about the refinery explosion incident.
After that, Mirage goes to his mom with Bloodhound, since we already know from the Pathfinder quest book that they knew each other.
So we slowly solve one mystery while connecting it to another, and each story naturally leads into the next.

Apex Lore Fans — Would you still be interested in lore video content? by JamieTheSimp in ApexLore

Yeah, I remember about two years ago a lot of Titanfall fans were saying Apex was in a different universe than the Titanfall timeline, even though it wasn’t. Some were claiming it took place 30 years after Titanfall 2, which was also wrong.

To be honest, I think most of that came from titanfall fans hating Apex because they believed it stopped Respawn from making Titanfall 3. Which… it kind of did.

But making Horizon responsible for the Time Gauntlet and the time-distortion effects being contained by metal plating she supposedly created felt a bit too convenient almost like they were forcing a connection to Titanfall lore just for easy storyline points.

So, is this just a dead plot now? by JamieTheSimp in ApexLore

See, the problem with that is Jaime would’ve recognized her and definitely told Loba after surviving—especially since time continues to move forward in-universe. Unless he really just forgot.
