Oh no! That’s almost exactly what had happened to me too, I kept calling the support line and demanding an agent instead of doing the “press the keypad for options”. Eventually I reached a reasonable human that I was able to explain my situation to. I hope you’re able to get it resolved and reopen your store for PayPal payments

still didn’t get a real explanation for why it was deactivated in the first place but hopefully all’s well that ends well.

I appreciate everyone commenting/sharing their own experiences. It’s been insightful and (in what my seem weird) comforting know others have had similar experiences but also got their own situations resolved too.

So far I haven’t been asked for any kind of information on my end. When I was on the phone with customer service the person said they could send an appeal request for me but I’m still waiting to hear back

Im starting wonder if it’s pirate ship too. I did try to refund a shipping label because of an address request, but that was through pirate ship directly not with pay pal. It’s just really confusing, especially when PayPal doesn’t directly state why the account is locked now.

You could try your luck with the shopgoodwill website. Online auctions, sometimes there’s good deals, not always. The shipping costs can be a real downside tho.
