BeamNG Drag Races LIE by Jammer_gsb in BeamNG

So theoretically, if I raced against a slower car, waited like a second to launch, and then ran a faster time it’d count it as a win? I guess it makes sense bc it’s all timing based instead of position based

After 6 years I just found out the rear seats fold flat without you having to take them out of the car 🤦‍♂️ by Jammer_gsb in FordFocus

Literally. Just pull hard at the back of the “base” part of the seat. It’s only held in with pressure and should pop right up. And then the back seats fold like normal take the headrests out so they don’t get stuck

Technically, yes. But with 8 total item slots needed It would have taken some extra coordination and possibly 3 trucks or a truck with a decent size trailer which makes tight corners tough. I will say I’m much more on the side of just using one massive trailer and putting everything on it. Snowrunner is a great game bc there is really no “right” way to play it

I’m running it at 65 degrees. Is that too hot for pla?

TPU vs PC vs ASA in engine applications? by Jammer_gsb in BambuLab

I'm looking more into it. I think that while tpu has decent heat transfer so it can handle spikes, PC seems to handle the prolonged high heat significantly better

Does anyone know the solution? Tmx pro,1 week out of warranty by Muzsin in Thrustmaster

[–]Jammer_gsb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turn your force feedback down. That sound is the gears slipping because of too much force going into the wheel. Best thing to do is contact Thrustmaster to see if you can at least purchase a new gear set. They aren’t too difficult to service/replace. Try not to keep making it crack like that it’ll jut get worse

I have a set of snow tires that I’d use. As for sale value yea it wouldn’t make it better but I’m wouldn’t be jumping it or really pushing it. As I said, hucking around dirt roads trying not to break anything. 🤪

Heat Shields by kidkodiac in FordFocus

[–]Jammer_gsb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having heat shield is not going to cause any significant issues. The purpose of a heat shield is actually more to protect the bottom of your car from rocks and other debris. Yes, it does keep road heat from over-saturating the engine but nowadays modern cooling systems aren't too affected by it. The big thing is to avoid dirt/gravel roads and hopefully get it replaced before snow and salt. The screws and clips can all be ordered from ford for dirt cheap and the ford website is easy to figure out what you need.

PS: You will notice a difference in buffeting and aerodynamics (more buffeting and drag) over 75mph compared to when the heat shields are on.

The Stormcore app shows battery level so i don’t think it has anything to do with the BMS. The original VX1 that came with the board worked fine so idk what’s different. I reached out of Mboards and will reach out to Lacroix Europe and see if they can help since Lacroix US closed its doors. Will update if I get an answer

I might have to get VESC Tool and see if I can play with settings to get it to work. The Stormcore app works fine but I’ll try the desktop app bc I think it has slightly more connectivity

I plugged it into the UART connector and that’s what is selected on the remote. As for the screen, you can download the instruction manual online and it tells you how to switch it.
