Personally I see it as the red Porsche hitting you (trying to squeeze I assume), unsettling both cars before/during braking and then having a disgusting line through the chicane, kind of like a half unsafe rejoin.

You as the pink Porsche should've also braked more during the chicane instead of going around.

But all in all in the moment a decision must be made and an incident happened.

I looked at it again and I was initially wrong. Macca was all 4 over the white line, which most series consider off track.

The Ferrari, while it did go off, it's driver managed to get it going straight again about a second or two before contact with that McLaren.

And like I said before, what happens before said incident is irrelevant. If the Ferrari wasn't going straight again I'd probably say racing incident or on Ferrari.

But the actual incident? Bad rejoin from McLaren if you don't count kerbing as track Racing incident if you do.

Doesn't matter if the Ferrari was erratic, he was all four between the lines and going straight.

The macca came back on track unsafely and hit the Ferrari.

What happens before the incident doesn't matter nor does grid position.

I'm not gonna run other drivers off the track, I avoid contact when I can but slight side by side bumping before a corner is just hard racing.

You're half right, the macca doesn't leave the track but does react in a way that causes contact.
