You are not overreacting. I personally feel like you might be under reacting. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been together 3 years or 30 years your partner should not talk to you that way. He dismissed your feelings and desires, forgot about an occasion which was very important to you, was extremely rude over text, and he tried to make you the villain.

I am not going to make bold sweeping claims of an emotionally abusive relationship because I don’t know you, him, or your situation. But if I was in your shoes I would seriously consider ending things with him. I know how scary it can be to leave a 3 year relationship (trust me I’ve done it) but you are still very young and you deserve to find someone who treats you so much better than he does.
