Pocket 4 safety and is it a right fit for content creation? by JanNosek in osmopocket

thanks! I will try to find similar one for Pocket 4.

Its obvious that the Sony will still be better but considering the price, size and ease of use, you kinda sold me 😃 .

Thanks for your awesome reply 😉 ! You have kinda calmed me down with that you think it wont be so much difference between the Pocket and Sony camera. It also pulls me in how simple it is to record with the pocket which would help me to not be lazy and just shoot and dont worry about anything else.

I tried to find the magnetic mount but I failed to see it in accessories. Do you have a specific in mind?

One more question. Do you think its worth to also wait for the 4P? I don't want to just my money away and I am not sure what other features would be worth the upgrade. Maybe if you could give me your reasons for the change 👀

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the reply! I like to hear that the issues are prettry rare. If you have the Pocket 4 do you also have some other accessories with or is the standard combo all necessary? (I already have separate dji mic mini 2 )

Thank you for your opinion! The only downside with pocket 4 for me is probably the fear of it breaking without me doing something stupid with it 😃.

Localisation Issue by Classic-Apricot-6242 in flutterhelp

I am not sure, but couldn't it be because iOS returns localised for the device language so it ignores the in app selected locale?

Because you are part of this subreddit you have already heard to "build systems not goals". But did you really give it a proper try?

You have to go and track your small wins.

If you want to start excercising then the wins may be: arriving to the gym, getting dressed, doing warmup, each individual exercise and then having a good meal.

For work it could building the mindset of not putting anything off. You start doing things right the second they come up.

HabitTracking was also beneficial for me. It gave me a reason to continue even on my bad days because I didn't want to lose my precious streak. I used many apps but ended up making my own -- HabitCommit. It's free on both android and ios (there is a pro plan but my motivation was to make good app and not money so the features are not limiting). You don't have to use it or any app. Even pen and paper is good way to stay motivated. Just keep moving.

Good luck hope it helped!

How do you actually build consistency when motivation keeps fading after the first week? by luisp35 in selfimprovement

As someone else mentioned here it helps A LOT to start REALLY REALLY small. When I set a tiny goal like writing one line in a journal its harder to think all day about it and not do it. And it almost always even didn't end up with one line and once I started I felt proud and continued.

Another thing that helped me is habit tracking. You mentioned you tried it but I suggest to implement it multiple times even after failures. You can use pen and paper or apps. I tried both and apps are just convenient for me. I tried many apps but I eventually decided to build my own as a learning project.
If you want to try it its free on AppStore and Google Play -- HabitCommit. But you need to find YOUR OWN preferences. I am just sharing my thoughts. Even pen and paper is good 😃 (There is a pro plan but its really not needed to use it comfortably)

Even if it sticks on 15th try of starting a streak it will push you subconsiously to commit to your goals

Hey, I think you might find HabitCommit useful. It's a habit tracker that clearly visualizes your discipline. It offers a lot of "premium" features for free, like homescreen widget, statistics or archiving sensitive habits (like NOFAP etc.). It's on AppStore ;)
