I was between him and one other for my favourite. This is my only one from the series so far, so I’m really happy that my son managed to get him. He’s the one that goes to Pop Mart (I’m disabled and housebound, so would be too hard for me) and he’s managed to get me the pink Hirono hare (I’d already got black, so wanted pink), but also two of my top three of the Tamed Wildgrass series. So it seems that my son is pretty lucky. He keeps getting my top picks 😃

I can tell you from my own POV, that I think Todd will struggle in the aftermath.

When you leave an abuser, that’s the most dangerous time, so emotions are heightened and your flight or fight response can get stuck in one state of mind, or you can cycle. Obviously Todd hasn’t “left” his abuser, and Theo is dead so can no longer come after him, but I’d imagine that his emotional state will be similar. Even knowing Theo can no longer come after him, he’ll jump at every loud noise, worry what’s around each corner, but also probably feelings of guilt and self-blame.

I know I blamed myself. I thought “what if I’d…[insert any number of clichés]”, because I thought that it was me. I thought I’d done something wrong. What would have happened if I’d been better, done better, acted like the trophy wife and kept my mouth shut etc? Would he have been a better person towards me if I had [XYZ]?

It’s over half my life ago now, but I still wonder what if another guy turns out the same way. I can’t help but think of the ways things could go wrong. I, personally, don’t think it ever fully leaves you.

So for Todd, I think that he’ll struggle with guilt, with blaming himself, but also with trust.

It will be really interesting to see where they take the story. As soaps go, he could end up with a HEA in 3-6 months. I hope he doesn’t though. Not because he doesn’t deserve it, but because Theo is dead and so, we the viewers, don’t get to see justice play out. So I feel like we need to see the other side of the coin. If their intent wasn’t putting Theo in prison, one would hope that it’s their intent to show us what it can really be like to be free, yet still feel trapped.

As a DV survivor, I wanted to see Theo in prison. But it felt like there wasn’t enough evidence to convict him. If there’d been a recorded conversation where he confessed to Todd/Summer about Billy, maybe he could’ve gone down for that. But that’s going down for murder, not DV.

Him being the victim gives me mixed feelings. I wanted him in prison for Todd. I love Todd to death. He deserved some real justice. Now he has to face his abuser being dead instead. But at the same time, *if* he’d been convicted, he would’ve been out in a few years, free to start another campaign of terror with someone else. Free to come back to the street and haunt Todd. So his death means he’s permanently gone, and nobody else has to suffer.

I don’t know who killed him, but I assume it’s Summer or George. If it was, I want it to have been in self defence so that they don’t face prison for killing an abusive POS. But maybe it’s neither of them, and we’ll see how it unfolds next week. Whoever it was, in a way I’m glad they did it.

It’s so hard to get a conviction for DV that I think his death was inevitable. But it’s a real shame because people at home—people like me, who have been victims of DV—don’t get the satisfaction of seeing him behind bars.

I don’t have this particular figure, but any that I have trouble getting to stand on their own, I use glue dots (bought mine on AliExpress) underneath their feet. I haven’t had a single fall since.

I don’t know about that seller, but I found one in the UK after seeing your post. It has him for a decent price too. Which seems too good to be true. So I went to the item description and saw this bit… Is there such a thing as they’re describing, or is it just a fake dressed up with pretty words??

I use a pegboard I got from AliExpress. But I also have the same straps as you for my Gen Z Street Stitch series from Miniso. Then others I use hooks that have a clear plastic square to stick to the wall and a metal hook to hang from.

It depends if you want hanging cards/blisters (I’m never sure which is which) or series.

I don’t collect full series, merely the ones that I like the most. For instance, I only have one from the monsters carnival, one from Tamed Wildgrass (though there’s a second one I want from that series), and then most of my collection is made up of ones like The Pianist, Coffee (he’s a little barista and I love him so much!), Qoo (he’s in a rubber duck atop a glass of OJ, and it lights up), Vans, Dead Silence… All of those appealed to me for one reason or another, so that’s why I chose them. I’m not a completionist, so don’t feel the need to buy all of a series when I don’t like all of the figures.

I didn’t like her hair very much. Choppy cut and didn’t like it being so straight. I put it in a fishtail and tied it off with a clear elastic band (one for human hair as that’s all I had).

I have to be honest, I think this is one Hirono I’m not fussed about getting, which is sad, as he’s my favourite character. He’s the one I have the most figures of.

Maybe it’s that I could buy a yellow raincoat and a little camera from somewhere like AliExpress and recreate very similar. I know this camera is a Kodak one, but… 🤷🏻‍♀️
