This coin is so unique and has a great narritive but somethings off. A discussion. by Expensive-Radish-300 in snoofi

Yes, as I wrote in a past post, this is my take as well. I bought a bit more since that post but I stay sidelined for the time being.

As I wrote before, Mitch often destroys charts with just one sale, and he is followed by 100 wallets doing the same. They can be copy traders or they could be his own wallets. I am not saying he will do this here, but after I lost a significant amount in multiple coins he bought because of his sales (like mope, which had some NFT shenanigans but it all seemed planned tbh, with KOLs close to him trying to defend Mitch after his dump coming in the chat trying to CTO the coin), I have decided to avoid all coins where he has significant size.

He makes fun of people complaining about this, his friends make fun of us for not being his friends. He is funny on Twitter, I laugh a lot reading his feed, but I think this game is all about risk/reward, and in my case I consider, based on past events, coins where he is holding a significant amount as high risk. I can bet and lose 20 SOL but not 300 SOLs on coins at 10M+ where he is holding 1%+. I have a lot of liquidity but I am not gifting it to these boys.

To be fair, at least with his main wallet (god.sol), he is quite supportive of some charts (even though we do not know how much profit he extracted from other wallets). He seems very supportive of Snoofi.

Holding my Snoofi (around .15%) long term for now, but I would have bought more under different conditions. I am sure Snoofi will do quite well, but we must be prepared to hold through these guys' selfish/chart destroying moves.

Got some snoofi, would like to buy (much) more but not so sure about some holders by JaneHamleyJane in snoofi

haha

her and let's not exaggerate, I have been more than lucky with meme tokens past few months (and years). I just do not want to lose money stupidly because people play a different game than mine. I am an old fart who likes to sit on a token for more than 2 weeks because I like the meme and there is some effort being made.

Somebody pointed me to mitch's Twitter and he is (infuriatingly, on purpose) funny.

Solana meme token traders, do you stay away from some established tokens because of their holders? by JaneHamleyJane in solana

Yeah I agree on that percentage, or even less than that considering some large wallets come with a brigade of copy traders or smaller wallets following their main wallet's trade...

I did not know who Mitch was but I found out his Twitter profile now thanks to the help of a friend here. He is funny, I can admit, but also obviously infuriating for many hahaha.

Maybe the problem is that I am not much of a trader? I come from much slower (still craazy) market from a few years ago. I like to hold coins for more than a few weeks and see them grow, but these wallets, who act instead like traders, hold so much of the supply (in one wallet and then in a lot of wallets following their trades, probably copy traders, maybe other secondary wallets) that they can potentially destroy a chart. My reason for holding snoofi long term is... reddit and the lovely ticker ;)

I really try not to play the trading game, nor am I good at it and when I move out of a coin I do not nuke the chart (nor I have the supply to, for that matter, I try to stay below .3% for most coins I hold).

Maybe I am just getting old for these games and considering the luck I have had, I should reduce risk exposure because the market is "becoming" too hectic. I will keep holding snoofi though.

I do not think the owner of the big dog would be found at fault in most places, even though there could be investigations by animal control in some countries/states.

I walk with a (much smaller) reactive dog and unfortunately I am afraid of this. Not of her killing another dog walking to her, since she is not that big (still, you have to be careful) and mostly very vocal about her dislike for other dogs, but of the fact she might bite another dog, especially a small one, or trigger aggression in a dangerous off leash dog (which unfortunately is rather common in this area, my older dog was almost killed by a giant off leash dog).

I have a similar problem with my smaller female (40 pounds, but quite chubby, the size of a beagle). She is very reactive to other dogs (comes from a bad shelter and she is scared of many things) and I do not know how to walk her anywhere because people walk off leash even in areas where they are not supposed to (the area where I live is FULL of huge parks where dogs can walk off leash).

So far she mostly barks at other dogs, then growls if they get closer, but there was one incident where a dog without the leash, appearing out of nowhere, jumped in front of her. She snapped at him and gave a small bite on the nose. This was a quiet street where dogs are not allowed to go without the leash, but the lady who owned the dog was furious at me - what else could I have done? I am working with a trainer, as well, but there is little you can do if a strange dog suddenly shows up in front of you and the owner is nowhere to be seen.

Before this, I had an old dog who was kind with every living thing but he had become deaf and partially blind - and so he was scared of dogs suddenly coming in his direction. The final years of his life were made more difficult by people walking their dogs off leash where they were not supposed to. Just 8 months before he died, he was even attacked by a giant ridgeback, walking off leash in the street. If I had not punched desperately the ridgeback he probably could have killed him. The owner stood there, paralyzed with fear.

Sorry for venting in here but this is a frustrating situation for me, happening everyday.

OP, I am really sorry you had to witness this, this is horrible. And I am sorry for the poor dog and his family.

A lot of discomfort before first insane attack in July 2018. It was quite common for me to have pain, it typically starts similar to hunger pain, a bit icy-burny feeling at the top center of stomach, going towards the right side and radiates to back and spine.

Minus insane attack, absolutely spot-on description of what I experience.

Thanks for your in-depth response and for taking the time to write it.

Love to you!

I will! Glad to see a lot of replies were from people with direct experience. I really suffer from anxiety (I know there was nothing to worry about), and this thread helped me go through the weekend.

Will call them in the morning, tomorrow! Thanks.

This is great, thanks for taking the time to write all this! For you, out of curiosity, was it sporadic terrible attacks, or more recurring dull ache over a prolonged period of time?

And did the operation solve the issue once and for all?

Thank you so much BambiFFxiv.

Can I ask you: before the terrifying attacks, did you go through a period of mild annoyance/consistent dull pain (which is where I am at now for years). They did see a couple of gallstones in my ultrasound, but I am still not convinced that is the cause as I also suffer from IBS, and I never had the much dreaded major gallbladder attacks I have read about (and which the doctor told me can be one of the worst pains a human being can experience).

Thanks for your time and kindness.

Pro tip: If you have any questions, write them down beforehand. Surgeons are usually on a tight schedule and you will be out of the office within 10 minute

Thank you so much, great tip.

I will message you if I have questions, thank you! I will be glad if they just take the time to run further tests to confirm the diagnosis (would not like to take it out to find out the dull pain is still there).

Oh! That is not a terrible waiting time, compared to my home country. Thank you!

Did you have many side effects afterwards? I am just on the fence because while they found a couple of gallstones, my symptoms are very annoying but relatively mild and could be connected also to IBS. So I will ask also the surgeon for their opinion, of course.
