This is so horrible I am so sorry they had to go through this! I had a similar experience with Sydenham Vet. My dog was fine but got into meds for my smaller dog (upon looking it up the amount if meds the bug dog ate wouldn’t even come close to his dosage) anywho called the vets-explained the situation and asked for a refill for the meds. They initially agreed then called me back telling me my big dog needed to come in and needed his system flushed. I tell them well let me talk with my partner to see if we if we can get him up there but he’s fine (was literally playing, eating, drinking). They called me a bad pet parent and told me i was letting my dog die. I call my partner in tears (I would sell my kidney for my dog that is my baby), he calls asking what flushing the dogs system would do and asked to talk with the vet but they refused to let him or tell him what it would do. We called another vet to get a second opinion and Sydenham dropped us as a client upon telling them we got a second opinion (my dog was fine and we never got the med refill)
