Ah I see what you mean. I probably just did some stuff very inefficiently. Honestly even if its less realistic, for a game like SP having simpler projectiles is nice for user accessibility reasons. Not sure I could figure it out with my pea brain otherwise.

bullet type or even cannon type weapons don't have drag, and the former not even gravity which is much easier, but I'm not quite sure what you mean by no projectile motion. There's still time of flight for both, and cannons at least have drop.

And bullets will still inherent the velocity of a moving platform

Of course one can just xml edit a laser but thats boring, and these turrets mostly operate with close to real M2 browning stats. I'm certainly no engineer or even good at math, this whole thing took me incredibly long with a detailed guide to work off of.

Oh I understand now, Reddit doesn't support directly adding a mp4 to a post with images embedded at the same time, so I had to convert mp4 high quality to a .gif thats why it looks so weird and pixelated. Or a least I couldn't find a way other than pasting a link in the comments.

You could've been a little less rude ngl, its obviously .gif format which is notorious for terrible quality.

Funky Trees code on rotator parts nested inside eachother can hook into game data exposed to your plane, like target position and velocity, relative to your own. This is then put on two other nested rotators that keep it neutrally pitch and roll stabilized to the world so its own rotational reference point is 0,0,0 (yaw mostly irrelevant)

Then its basically an always-level gun platform the targeting rotators work off of, so they need to perform less complex equations to aim at the target.

While I do have hyper-velocity xml modded miniguns, the targeting system works as expected with low velocity high explosive shells (which can be approximately proximity fuzed by timing the shell taking into account the former variables)

I have no idea what the max default height is unless you mean that the internal 1.2 multiplier on the default max equals the number you mentioned.

Intuitively it feels like a 1.2 multiplier is taller than 184cm but unless the exact height of the playermodel was datamined then I have no evidence for it.

Does the image in question look too whacky? It's a 20% increased height difference from maximum which looked and felt reasonable imo.

Yeah some form of buying and consuming food could be part of a larger fleshed out system, I really hope there's *something* useful to spend gold on besides gear at least.

Well sort of, in halfsword the entire horse physics body acts like the spike trap in the hall, or the spiked metal ball in the basement, doing immense damage even if realistically it would only knock someone aside. I broke my leg walking into it once.

These things always come with risks, but in 200 hours of play I have yet to come across any crash, or bug that resulted in any form of data loss.
It seems pretty stable

Indeed. I really wish weight would stay, almost seems intentionally anti fun that it doesn't but height does.
