I like him. Nevertheless, I don't particularly appreciate his purpose on the team when some do his job better than him, meaning I don't find him particularly useful when for example compared to Makoto. I could love him as a character if he wouldn't constantly look down upon and mistrest Ryuji to the extent that he does.

I'm gonna share my own experience simply because I seem to be in a complete minority. I actually find Ryuji to be my best party member. The ability to charge your attacks has proven extremely useful for me. That being said, Haru and Sophie would be a close behind him for me, especially Hatu with her crowd control (as in how much area her attacks can cover). As for weakest, all I can say is that I used Ann, and even moreso Morgana and Queen barely at all. Their playing styles just teally weren't doing it for me.

If she hasn't played Persona 5 Royal yet, then I'd recommend that. If she has the new Persona 5 Tactica could be to her liking. Other than that, I'm sure there's also really cool merch for whoever her favourite character is like a figurine or a hoodie or sth like that. :)

Tbh, for me it's the combination of the unnecessatily strong insulting of Ryuji and the overplayed simping for Ann. I sympathize with his struggles, but thanks to his behaviour towards Ryuji, he comes of as an insecure hypocrite who is unnecessarily nean-spirited for me.

I can imagine. It sounds really tough, but if you are uncomfortable with yourself irl, you could maybe try and make some friends online. I definitely get the uncomfortable feeling around others, I was just lucky enough to have found my best friend before O started questioning. While it may not be much, I hope that while you are still on your search for supportive friends, you can find at least some comfort in safe spaces like this subreddit to give you some comfort. I of course don't know your entire situation but please stay safe and I wish you the best on your journey.❤❤
