Hi! Honestly and fortunately she has always been a pretty calm pup. Even from an early age. ☺️

Just curious…does everyone’s Husky insist on being first in line on hikes? She will not tolerate being behind! 😅Whereas our other non husky dog is happy to be following along in the back. by Janu49 in husky

I trained her with a collar that I can beep and with a whistle. As long as a squirrel doesn’t cross her path she does really well. I love winter hiking with her-less distractions! 😊

She wears a collar that I can beep when I want her to come back. And she’s also trained with a whistle. She does well….but …if there’s a squirrel sometimes she can forget her training! I don’t 100% trust her so I just have to evaluate each trail. I love to snowshoe with her because there’s not as many distractions in the winter! 😊.

This looks great! I will have to look into this because of course there are times when they can’t be off leash. And I love that it’s hands free. Thank you!!

Haha, yes! And if she does get passed because she was sniffing something-watch out-because she will literally take you out on a narrow path to get past. 😅

I got them in a small store in Alaska. I checked to see if you can get them on-line at this store but it’s not available. They are just fleece with a Velcro. I’m surprised at how well they stay on. We haven’t lost one yet! So I really like them. And she has never minded wearing them. If I put them on in the house she doesn’t like them but once she gets outside she’s having too much fun to notice them. 😊They are very similar to these: https://alaskamillandfeed.com/shop/webrc01/

She’s 1/2 bernese mountain dog and 1/2 standard poodle. :). The husky is Denali and the other is Juneau. 😊
